Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe cabin was absolutely spotless. You can tell the host takes great pride in looking after this place. The location is quiet, the cabin was very cosy, with proper heating! We have stayed in a few cabins and my word does having real radiators make a huge difference! The kitchen is well equipped and I had no trouble whipping up some avocado toast, with Serrano ham and poached eggs. We really appreciated the milk in the fridge as we forgot to bring some. Thank you for that.

United KingdomI banged my head 6 or 7 times on the door frames due to the size (my fault I know) but I am only 5ft 7. The heating was on a low setting when we arrived (I guess it had been vacant in the previous days which is understandable). However it was snowing outside and was very cold so it took a good 2/3 hours for the place to warm up when I worked out the heating controls. It would have just been very nice to walk straight into a cosy space as befitting the lovely accommodation.
A lovely quiet retreat decorated and furnished superbly. It was very clean and there were also some lovely extras. A great place.

United KingdomPerhaps it would be nice to have a shower attachment in the bath for hair washing but that is me really nitpicking as the bath was gorgeous after a long walk!
The Cabin was absolutely beautiful, a really quirky little cabin which was extra magical with all the Christmas decorations and fairy lights. The Prosecco was a nice touch and I loved the toiletries basket - little touches like sanitary products and dry shampoo were very thoughtful. Both pubs in the village were lovely and welcoming with good food and open fires. Most importantly Dougie and Clare are excellent hosts!

United KingdomWe felt bad leaving the rubbish outside within the entrance as we didn’t know where the ‘advised rubbish location was’ (we didn’t just want to put it the property next doors waste bin) This could be clearer on the arrival sheet but literally nothing we didn’t like we just didn’t like leaving our rubbish not in a designated place.
My partner booked Floras for my 30th birthday and it was the best weekend. The views are amazing, sitting on the bench overlooking the views reading with a glass of bubbly will always be a memory. We visited both local pubs twice and ate at both and had a nice walk down to the reservoir although I was quite happy to stay in the amazing bath. Floras is exceptionally clean, Prosecco and chocolates were a lovely touch on arrival and I honestly cannot fault anything about the stay. I have already looked at dates to return in a few weeks but unfortunately it’s fully booked. Will definitely return.

The location is absolutely stunning, the views are incredible! The cabin itself was just perfect for two- it was small but really cosy, perfect for a romantic getaway. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and it was a short walk to the reservoir which we had wanted to visit!

United KingdomWe think its a lovely touch having bathroom items available if anyone needs anything e.g shampoos ect but we didnt feel comfortable there been an half opened mouth wash added to the mix. We hit our head getting out of the bath few times as the light fitting too close to the bath. We felt that our glasses and few other bits needed to be re washing when we arrived. The set out in the kitchen is great and you have everything you need to cook. We had to pop out for some washing up sponges, but asumed you'd run out which isnt a problem, but maybe something to check if you provided them after asking guest to please make sure pots are washed before leaving. Great stay for 2 night but by day 4 our backs where getting stiff.Maybe a mattress topper might help 🙂
Warm welcome when we arrived from the host,he even brought us some bug spray round incase we wanted to sit out on an evening. Great views looking over the valley. Great walks. Enclosed area for the dogs.Could just do with somewhere to hose them down if you have a muddy walk and maybe dog towels if someones forgotten one 🐾 It was Relaxing sitting on the swing looking out at the stunning view and listening to the birds and even catching the train go by. The hosts are great at giving recommendations on areas to walks and pubs, but a little welcome pack with local amenities and maybe a map for local walks would have been great in the pods.

United KingdomNothing!
Beautiful and quaint little cabin for a perfect 5 day stay. (take no notice of the address that booking.com takes you to as it is 15 mins away. put The Red Cow Inn in Ponsticill in your satnav and it’s 100m up the road!). We spent 4 nights here, enjoyed the swing on the decking, sat playing board games and enjoying the view. It’s beautifully quiet and walking distance of the pub and reservoir. We enjoyed the huge bathtub (big enough to share!). We also took day trips to Pen Y Fan, the Four Waterfalls trails and Llangorse lake. Dougie came to speak to us and was lovely and accommodating. This cabin is gorgeous and perfect as a hub if you are out and about, but you could also spend your time there and be perfectly content. Have already shared the details with numerous friends and would gladly return.
