The location was beautiful. The staff were most helpful even when a mini crisis arose.

The welcoming was great. Very friendly. Room was nice and big, bathroom a good size too. What I really liked was I wasn't staying in an impersonal hotel, it was a place that had atmosphere and character.

Friendly and very professional housekeeping, excellent facilities and very clean. The pub staff were brilliantly ant, very friendly and the craic was 90. Without hesitation I highly recommend the Crown Pub & Guest House. Will be making another visit very soon!

Instructions to get into room were a bit vague but called the number provided and got instant support. Forgot the gate pin tho but customer let us in. Might not suit early to bedders as was quite noisy until midnight but then completely silent after that.

The room was great. Clean, comfy, well equipped with tea, coffee, hairdryer & shower gel/shampoo. Good location for us visiting relatives in the area. Loved the balcony!

In all honesty, I’ve stayed in five star hotels that weren’t as good as this place! A warm welcome, incredibly comfortable bed, room and en-suite spotlessly clean and the pub downstairs is fantastic. Also one of the very few places to find a decent pint of Guinness in London. The manager and her staff go above and beyond and it shows. Walk in as a stranger, leave as friends. (Breakfast wasn’t included but there’s a lovely old fashioned breakfast cafe next door with a huge menu, so all good.) We had a five star perfect stay and will definitely be return customers for years to come, for sure.

Traffic noise. Shower stopped working halfway through taking a shower. Nobody there to discuss it in the morning. Narrow stairs.

Excellent place to stay in the heart of Hackney. Really nice welcoming staff. Friendly hosts and locals in both adjoining pubs. Well equipped room with plenty of tea and coffee. Comfy bed, good shower, I slept well but was glad of my earplugs as the window was above a busy street.

No full length mirror/smaller in the bedroom to use to get ready. Bathroom door didn't stay shut.

Water pressure was variable in the shower although it was a top floor room and therefore might be expected to have a weaker flow - just need to be patient with it 🙂.

Clean and comfortable room with a very comfortable bed. It's atop the pub but you can't hear any pub noise in room 7 on the top floor. Nice pub too with a friendly community feel about it and loads of screens for sports fans so you can always get a good view.

Bathroom door was a bit faulty Windows are single glazed so.was a little noisy hearing outside and if sirens were going past the window did shake.

Lovely friendly staff. Comfortable room for one night stay. Starting to look a little tired, top of headboard ripped and shower getting a little black mould but room very clean and tidy.

On Mondays they have Karaoke. I explained I had surgery the next day and they kindly kept the sound lower. Thank you.
