Room - the curtains were extremely thin in the room which meant I was woken both mornings when it got light outside. A thicker pair of curtains or a blind would resolve this issue

The room was very comfortable and met my requirements for a 2 night stay. great parking facilities. The food in the pub was lovely and good value for money

the fact that the shower door was missing.

staff and food - excellent. accommodation was good apart from the shower door being broken the day before. There was not enough time to repair and whilst this didnt stop me taking a shower, i was concerned about soaking the bathroom floor. i would stay here again and enjoy the carvery, delicious.

Wifi was week, the cleanliness could have been better (there were stains on the walls, sheets, carpet and doors. also there were some cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling and behind the basin in the bathroom), towels were little dump

Carvery at the Tap House was excellent and the facilities of the room were just what I needed. Having a mini fridge was a bonus

the minus was * No free Wifi (in 2024 should really be offered for free to customers) * For the price per room 160 pounds for 2 nights, I really would have expected a breakfast included. There wasn't even a breakfast possible, although a restaurant present. * Check-out is before 10:30 which is rather early. With most Hotels/Motels check-out is latest 12:00. Today I requested a late check-out, at 13:00. Luckily this was possible, but had to pay 20 pounds for it. When I said I wanted a lunch, I've been told that there was no lunch on Monday. A sandwich or something for guests who have booked a room, would have been nice. Was quite hungry when I left

The room was OK, proper bed, clean room and bathroom, nice heavy duvet, good pillows, nice thick towels which smelt aswel very nice. Staff very friendly, quiet during the night

Bed too small. Sound insulation between rooms was very poor, could hear the occupants in neighbouring rooms in ‘detail’. Some minor cleaning issues with tea/coffee stains on tray in the room.. Outside view from rear window was a scruffy looking back yard!

Could do with peg for clothing in shower-room, and somewhere to prop shower gel/shampoo/sponge without having to keep bending up and down to the floor. Bedroom floor needed vacuuming - fallen bits could be felt under bare feet.

Room was freezing when we arrived and could have been a bit cleaner. The carpet was stained and the floor around the toilet hadn't been cleaned (splash marks).

Unfortunately breakfast wasn't available, which was a shame as I had experienced breakfast here before and it was perfect.

Clean, nice and warm, good TV, tea and coffee facility, ironing board and parking. Pub itself was excellent, great food and real ale brewed on the premises!
