We liked the cottage and it’s location , and found Whitstable to be a very pleasant destination .

A toilet roll and hand soap in the bathroom would have been handy , prior to us going shopping . A decaying seagull on the balcony was somewhat off-putting - it had obviously been there for some considerable time . Finding the available free off street parking on neighbouring roads that the marketing referred to proved to be rather challenging - the allocated parking immediately behind the cottage in a private car park would have made a big difference , but I assume ‘residents only ‘ did not include temporary ones .

The cottage was well presented , and had a cosy feel
