The hosts were adorable and friendly and extremely helpful. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Foyers Bay Country House is a beautiful place to stay in very comfy rooms, in a green and peaceful setting, with lots of animals strolling around the house. The view on the loch is also great !

    None noted.

Chris and Elly were extremely friendly and welcoming. The property may not be on the main road, which however offers the perfect tranquility to soak in the beauty of the surroundings. We stayed at Room #3 which has a clear view of the Loch Ness as well as the guest house's front yard. The animals on site were as interesting as the hosts. The English breakfast was cooked beautifully and very delicious.

    Leaving it!

Where to start, it is in a charming town on the Loch Ness . Tucked away on a hill so you have beautiful views of lake and forest. The house is easy to find with GPS! Home inside is wonderful, a bit of vintage mixed with stylish upgrades! So clean ! Beds were like sleeping on pillows! Anything we needed was graciously accommodated by the lovely hosts Chris and Elly. Easy to get anywhere in highland area! They have some entertainment as well! Absolutely loved it! Hated to leave!

Either plan ahead and order dinner from the property or be prepared to drive a few minutes to dinner.

The location was tucked away, which was so peaceful. Breakfast was made hot to order, always a wonderful treat. You can’t beat a hot breakfast looking out at Loch Ness watching wildlife. Rooms were comfortable and recently redone. They have a nice little bar with lots of options.

The hotel is more akin to a B&B as its not large and unfortunately the open fire was broken during our stay which was a shame.

Both Chris and Elly are a delight, perfect hosts. The hotel location is great for exploring Loch ness and the views from the hotel of the loch are spectacular.

The hotel was a lovely family run business that pays great attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was first class and fresh and catered for all the gluten free needs of my husband. They welcomed our dog and treated him like the lord that he has now learned to become!! Our room was very comfortable, spacious, clean and the bathroom fully equipped with toiletries. The view to Loch Ness was lovely as was watching the red squirrels at breakfast as well as the birds from the lovely breakfast conservatory.

    Nothing at all.

This was one of the most magical and relaxing breaks I have had in ages. The owners were a delight and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their knowledge of local landmarks, wildlife and history was brilliant and they really added to our visit. The food was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and our dinner in the Friday night was made magical by the visits from pine martens, badgers and fallow deer. At breakfast you'll be able to see pheasants, red squirrels, a huge variety of song birds and the resident chickens. I cannot wait to return.
