The hostess was very polite and chilled out, the rooms were also very clean. It's a great place to stay if you're comfortable sharing a house and bathroom with someone.

Toilet downstairs needed some attention to decor. Very cluttered overall. First impressions outside property did not attract us but inside the room was very clean

Great host and property location within short walking distance of restaurant, chippy, Morrisons and more and not an impossible walk to the city centre. Easy access to secluded garden from the room. Room clean but a little cluttered with what looked like overflow house furniture. One addition which would boost the room a lot would be a little basin. Loved the dog... so chilled out and it loved being petted.

Due to the races being on we could not get booked into a hotel. The bed was comfy but my husband had to climb over me 3 times to use the toilet which was next to the hosts kitchen and very tiny. We both felt too uncomfortable to access the hosts main bathroom but that may not bother other people. The room had too much furniture in it, no where to put our things. I put our bags on the floor then tripped over them in the night when I went to the toilet. The room had a TV and a fridge, host was kind enough to leave us a jug of milk. The room was very clean.

People walking around the room above ,very loud creaking , window in the room what looks in to the kitchen if you look behind the blinds , Can hear people cooking in the kitchen, Noise from the front door being in constant use .which is right next to the door to access the room from inside the house , you can actually see people walking past through the net curtains on the glass panel door , when entering and leaving the property . Fridge had previous persons items still in it , spoons still had tea stains on It's basically a room on the ground floor in a private house ,

The bed was to high and had to climb over the misses to get into bed.

We did not have breakfast here. Very good location and used the train to get into the city. We liked having a fridge in the room. A nice garden to relax in.

The room would look better by decluttering some stuffs like extra mirrors , tables and other stuffs. May be an extra towel and some hangers for clothes would have been better .

We were fine with everything.

We enjoyed staying in the cosy room after our night out. It's a while away from town if you want to walk but it's easy enough to take a taxi 😌 We appreciated we could make a coffee in the morning.

Access was though the garden, which was a tip, so not a good start. The room was so cluttered with excess furniture and knickknacks it was difficult to move around, and nowhere to put our stuff. Like dossing down in some strangers lumber room! The fridge was full of left over food and it smelt. The loo was in a cupboard under the stairs in the owners hall, and was cluttered and unclean. Apparently there was another bathroom, but the owner didn't tell us where it was, and it was unclear if we could use the kitchen, but the house was so cluttered and not clean enough for us to want to go use these facilities anyway. There was excessive noise from the creaking floorboards above us, which was disturbing.

Access through French windows to safe enclosed space for our dog. The dog liked being on the ground floor. Comfortable bed. Decent pub for meals nearby.
