A little odd having the bedroom separate from the living/kitchen area but functional. Bathroom was small so toilet cramped but again functional and shower was good. The kitchen was spacious but a little odd. It would benefit from a microwave. The cooker hood and main oven did not appear to be connected to the mains (the gas hob was functional. The washing machine was full of washed items. A small amount of tea/coffee and possibly a bottle of milk would have made it more welcoming.

The only problem was that I needed a hairdryer. I didn't know that I should have asked for it before check-in.

The room was clean, The sheets and the towels were also clean. The location was very good. The bathroom was clean. Good shower with hot water.

Front door was very noisy no matter how hard you tried to close it carefully, very difficult not to wake up others with the sound carrying through the hallways.

It was a good breakfast given and the location was decent not far from Perry Barr train station which is a 10 minute train journey to the centre of Birmingham. The bed ver extremely comfortable and the shower and bathroom was very good as well.

When booking this accommodation, it needs to clearly state (not somewhere in small print) that ID is required as this was a pain when attempting to get access for the keys. I've never had to do this before. The room we stayed in was drafty because there was a gap at the top of the window that also made a noisy humming sound (a video of this was sent to the owner. It was annoying and wasn't resolved during our stay. The down stairs shower tray was blocked and was filling up so quickly we had to stop to let the water subside before continuing our shower. The front lockable door wasn't as secured as I'd like it to be as when it was shut there was a substantial gap and it rattled. The house was very cold, and took ages to get it even slightly warm. There are radiators but some of these need bleeding and it would have been nice to come into a warmish house. There was a lounge but this was so cold we couldn't stay in it as one again there was a draft from the kitchen that was locked. Also, even though the sheets were clean they had food stains on them which I also took photos of if this was ever challenged. This house has so much potential for being a really good stay but was marred by the above. Little things that could be easily rectified.

The house was clean. Its located not far from Birmingham centre and there's space for a couple of cars to park. The rooms we stayed in are also a good size. The house has potential for lots of improvements.

Had to send over a copy of ID before keys were released to you. No mention of this in the pre booking and I don't carry ID with me. Luckily I was able to obtain a copy. I arrived late and the windows had all been left open so it was freezing. Couldn't turn on the heating. Landlady replied after I had fallen asleep. You can hear everything that happens in the place, my room was next to the bathroom......

The door was hard to open and the bathroom lock , kitchen had a small Fridge I think maybe instead of a kettle (no tea/coffee) have own mini fridge I was afraid someone taking something of mine , the padlock thing to get into the house didn’t work so sometimes door was left slightly open enough to push it open to unlock door otherwise could not get in . It isn’t mentioned but need to ask for wifi or if have your own is how the tv works it’s not set up automatically

Private bathroom was a shared bathroom, so not as described. There was no towel and this was unexpected and most inconvenient. Certainly no bathrobe was provided. Needing an early start 06.30 there was no hot water and no electricity at the mains socket. Perhaps it comes on at 07.00,it would have been nice to know in advance. On arrival I called the given number but it rang out unanswered. I did get through later on.

Coffee making facilities were a welcome bonus
