The food and drinks were expensive. The scrambled eggs were wet and runny! Should be more variety of eggs and vegetarian options! The gym staff were very unprofessional, my partner used the gym in two occasions and he heard them swearing and being very loud. The swimming pool was very busy although I appreciate weekends are busier than weekdays, nonetheless I think there should be allocated times for children and families and those who want to use the pool and spa facilities in peace!

The food (dinner menu) was very tasty but over priced. The staff particularly at the bar were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. Also like that you can bring your dog.

Another guest damaged my car whilst parked overnight but that was not any fault of the hotel.

Dinner and breakfast were really good although the menu options were fewer than previous visits. I would have like to see rib eye steak on the menu and steak baguettes because my recollection is that the beef was particulalry good.

Although in beautiful grounds, the restaurant looked out over the car park. Suggest that lounge area and dinning room switch places.

Service was good and staff were pleasant and attentive. Breakfast was particularly good for choices both cooked and continental options.

Bed was horrendously uncomfortable and I ended up with hip and back pain after 2 nights and very little sleep.

Breakfast was excellent facilities were great loved the fact there was tea and coffee in the room and a Fridge. Amazing flowers and out door seating

The staffing in the hotel . Staff always away from reception, bar staff were not up to speed and checkout; no staff caused a massive queue when no one there at 11am

Rooms looked a little tired. The TV was just terrestrial rather than fully smart.

The room overlooked a flat roof full of air conditioning units The complimentary water stations in the corridors ran warm, worrying as this led me to believe they were unused and could therefore harbour the legionella bacteria.

Bit tired in places. The reception and spa staff were friendly but a touch disorganised. Asked for things at reception and didn’t get done. And the spa kept moving appointment made. Also spa beauty sessions essentially fully booked on arrival, so member of the family missed out on a treatment.

The coffee for breakfast was not nice! Changing room areas & spa just needed a bit of love.

This was a lovely building with friendly staff! It just looked a bit tired. The room, but particularly the spa area and the changing rooms could do with a little freshen up :) Breakfast was nice enough (loved that we could order all types of eggs), but coffee was less nice. Tasted really funny. Staff - were all excellent!
