It would have been nice if there was a microwave and cooking introductions for the cooker.

The location was excellent. The cottage was clean comfortable and warm and the communication with the owner was very quick and helpful.

Just a little too dog friendly for us, noticed that guests who wanted to could have their dogs sleep on sofa. I have terrible allergies so had this happened before our stay it could of caused me significant problems.

Letterbox rattles in the wind - not an issue unless you’re watching a scary film!

Great location. Less than 5 minutes to the beach and 1 minute from the car park. Cute house, very clean. Beds were comfortable.

The cottage had a damp smell on entering, but this was soon rectified with some air fresheners. Seemingly no direct heating i.e. electric/gas fire or instructions on how to manage the radiators.

Great location. Comfortable and clean cottage. Rail and bus links very close by. Shops, pubs and cafes within walking distance. Communications with host through Booking.com very good and on the whole, a very positive experience.

We couldn`t get the television to work it needs instructions. The blind fell off in the toilet

self catering all appliances and equipment were fine. The cottage was very clean and appeared to be freshly painted. As explained to us there was no onsite parking, but were informed hat the station carpark was very near and not expensive

TV needed logging in. ??? Internet only. You needed your usernames and passwords from home (if you have this??) Who remembers to pack all this information? We were able to watch some things.

I liked the location, fairly central, easy to get back to from most areas of town. We had a problem with the hot water, we reported it to the host who quickly tried to sort it and kept us informed. The next day she had got the gas meter replaced and everything worked well. Very helpful, apologetic and compensated us for our inconvenience. So our holiday was a lovely break. Things can break down or stop working, a willingness to fix things fast and communicate was a blessing!

This was a new holiday let, and there were some logistics issues that were however resolved satisfactorily. There isn't yet enough space to dry out beach gear and towels, but there is a small outdoor area that the hosts could make available for this.

Location is excellent, close to the beach and very close to the train station. Perfect for a weekend away: everything you need for a short stay is just a short walk away. It was well equipped and clean.

The house was quite shabby and tired looking. Paintwork and general upkeep was poor. Our curtain pole fell off on the second night when we pulled the curtains. There was dried food stuck to the chairs in kitchen. Sofa bed not comfortable and not very clean.

The house was advertised as fully equipped. It had no washing machine. The kitchen equipment was extremely basic - 2 pans and a frying pan. There were no oven clothes. The oven was dirty. There was no cafetiere. The bathroom was freezing cold. The towel rail was insufficient to heat the bathroom.

Only criticism is it Could do with a dressing mirror (full length) and smoke alarm went off 3 times in the night. I will message hosts. I loved the stay though and will be back in a couple of weeks

The cottage did smell quite damp. The en-suite toilet was very cramped. (If you're taller than 5'6" you couldn't use it without banging your knees!). Bedframe in master bedroom was broken and had been fixed using pieces of wood (was like this when we arrived). Beds extremely soft (just a personal opinion).

Gorgeous looking cottage in great location. Great shower in downstairs bathroom! Only 2 streets away from the seafront with bars and restaurants very close. Lots of parking less than a 5 minute walk away.
