It would be great if it were possible to lock the door from the inside - on the one hand to know it’s locked throughout the night and on the other because our little one kept attempting to make a runner 😃

The kitchen area was very basic, pot, pans and cutlery were clean, however very worn. This would be an are of improvement to bring up the overall rating

noise on the second night from the pool table underneath - seems to echo right up and old wall / chimney - sounded like furniture being dragged along the floor at 1am in the morning which would put me off being in that particular apartment

Great location in smart residential area. Parking space outside apartment. Good Wi-Fi. Easy walk into the town and 15 min walk to train station. Reception responsive to emails and quick to fix a minor issue.

Fantastic location close to Stirling Castle, the town itself, Blair Drummond Safari Park and surrounding area. The apartment was extremely spacious with fabulous views out over the Royal Gardens to the hills beyond.

Needs a good deep clean. Tile in glass roof leaking onto table below in foyer. It needs a redecorate in line with the period just some little things, care and attention. Chairs were a little unstable. Mould down stairs, dusty, windows were clean :) Blinds were not rolling up and down correctly needs some attention and love. It’s a beautiful property, just maintenance and cleaning should get it right with better furniture. Lounge was great but what about some pillows and a throw rug here and there. Maybe a small supply of milk for fridge, to go with the coffee and tea.

We were on the second floor of a big place, so a few stairs to climb. The entire apartment was outdated and could definitley use some upgrades to paint, wallpaper, carpet and furniture. But the fair price more than made up for this and we didn't spend a lot of time there anyway as we wanted to get out to see stuff

This place rocked! Location, space, view, this place had it all! One of our favorite places to stay during our 2 week trek through Scotland. We could see Sterling Castle from our rooms, and facing west, had a beautiful view of the sunset. Short 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants; about 10 min drive to Sterling castle. Plenty of on street parking right in front of our apartment. Beds were pretty comfy and the living room was huge! as was the dining room and kitchen. Plenty of accessories in the kitchen for us to cook breakfast. 2 bathrooms, 1 for each bedroom, so this was great for the 2 couples staying. If ever in Sterling again, we will definitley book this place

One of the toilets in the upgraded apartment was not fully functioning but we could use the other one.

I was pleased that we were upgraded due to the toilet not working in the original booking.

1. This should be improved: The bed mattress was not flat (seemed hilly) and the bedding didn't fit well. 2. Just a maintenance job: The exhaust fan in one bathroom didn't work and should be fixed. 3: A mystery: The rubbish bins were difficult to work out, which recycling went where. The manual in the apartment didn't seem to match the bins provided.

The apartment was roomy with full cooking facilities. The heating was good (temperatures outside were freezing and below) but might have been at its limit. Castle a nice walk up the hill and town ten minutes along the road.

The living room area in winter is pretty cold Could do with larger radiators , and you can hear everything coming from the apartment next door almost felt like I was listening into there conversations, also could do with a TV in the bedroom most people watch TV in bed these days would just make it that bit better

Location was spot on it had private parking which is fantastic in Stirling the main bedroom is massive and very comfortable

The apartment is actually a garage conversion, when advertised the photos gave the impression of being in the main building, the entrace to the property was through a arch at the side of the main building. We arrived at 9 pm, very dark and no signs to let you know where to go. There was a broken tile in the middle of the kitchen floor and the bed was very firm.
