Out of 62 photos advertising the apartments only 2 showed ours 42b which we felt was false representation. Their was a smell in the apartment when we arrived but that would be due to the fact most of the windows don't open so it's difficult to air. The oven and grill don't work and their is no microwavable dishes for the microwave/grill. The TV in the bedroom is bigger than the one in the living room but has no connection to the aerial socket so doesn't work. The TV in the living room was small compared to what is expected nowadays it was possibly 28-32 inches. The biggest issue for us was the furniture in the living room, it was awful and really let the standard of the apartment down. It was very small totally uncomfortable and we struggled to use it. I would say fine for kids but inappropriate for adults. The space available in the living room could easily have normal size couches and chairs so can't understand why you would provide such small and uncomfortable seating. The only benefit for us was we were out most of the time. This could be an amazing apartment if a few of these issues were rectified.

The location and space in the apartment was excellent

The accommodation should not be let out in its current state as there is no working extraction to the kitchen or bathroom as neither fans worked nor is their any form of natural ventilation to the living room, kitchen or bathroom. This is contrary to building standards for living accommodation. We had to leave the front door open whilst we were in for ventilation purposes. The Heated towel rail did not work either electrically or through the central which also did not work. Cleaning standards were poor with dust and cobwebs at high level and the Roof lights were very dirty Standard of furniture was very poor particularly the double bed and living room seating There was a lack of hanging space other than a small section of the cleaning cupboard A washing machine is provided but no drying facilities As you can imagine we were not satisfied with this accommodation. It was not what was portrayed in the description. In our opinion this converted garage represents the worst form of rented accommodation.

Only one bed was sufficient. The other beds were old (1996!), uncomfortable and painful. Furniture was filthy and some parts in the house were dusty. The carpets are also filthy. Kitchen has not enough pans and pots with lids. Sour vomit like stench in the living room and bedroom.

One of the bathrooms was not functional. Hot water on on the main floor stopped working on the second day. One shower didn’t drain properly. Carpet was very dirty. Furniture was falling apart. Beds were old and not comfortable. Communication with host was poor. They sent people twice to fix the water and they never confirmed that they had gone.

Location is amazing. Kitchen was well equipped.

A couple of minor niggles: On the 2nd day we were all taking showers at the same time, and we saw that there were other occupants in the other apartments (as they came to our apartment to ask for directions the previous night, and they were from Indian origin as well), we had a bit of trouble with the hot water supply - and some of us had to take a colder shower ! The dryer in the laundry room didn't seem to be working - but these are just minor issues, which I am sure they can fix.

Oh My God! What a luxurious property and fit for Kings eh! We had booked the King's Apartment - No. 1 in the Royal Gardens Apartments - and whoaaa what an experience we had. The high ceilings, chandeliers, SPACE, SPACE and ULTRA BIG SPACE!!! Can't describe in words - the ambience and decor was fitting as well. Simply put - if you want to have a hoilday fit for the kings, just book this 4 Bedroom Kings Apartment! We have already booked again for April 2023!!! The pictures on booking.com don't do true justice to the size of the rooms! They are way bigger in actual experience! The master bedroom is surreal with a floating platform for the huge bed, and the bathroom and shower below! Snooker table was a big bonus and our junior enjoyed it to the fullest till the last minute! The hosts were very helpful in locating the place as there were some roadworks - though it is my bad that we did not read the instructions carefully before traveling!

This is in a garage conversion which made it feel claustrophobic as hardly any natural light in the living room, no windows in the kitchen or the bathroom. The settee is the most uncomfortable thing to sit in. We heard no noise until our last 2 nights where we were awakened loudly by a party next door. i understand people are celebrating and i wasnt bothered that we heard them before going to bed at midnight, it’s the fact it woke us several times right through to 3am. Not sure how a family staying with a young family would have felt. The 2 days of heavy rain made the kitchen floor very wet. have sent an email to advise the owners as we never got round to reporting it.

this is in a really nice area of Stirling. Not far to walk into town or to the Jail or Castle. very warm apartment. i always select an apartment with a washing machine but this one didn’t have dryer facilities but with the heat of the apartment it soon dried.

I did not match the photo of the house - looked like the apartment was in the main house - however part of the apartment was the old garage. Spacious, however not very cosy

Easy to get the keys - however we had a problem finding the place. The door was "hidden" and on the side of the house.

We were very happy with everything. My only advice is bring a wee eye mask if you prefer total darkness in the early hours of the morning, as the windows are huge & the light can show through blinds when the sun rises

Had a fantastic stay, the three of us felt right at home. We stayed in the Queens apartment; very spacious for us, we all had our own double beds/rooms with a shower/toilet each. Huge TV to watch in the living area, though we didn't watch it much after all the exploring we done in the few days we stayed! The views are amazing from the living room window (you can see Stirling Castle from there). Everything you really need is in the apartment, it's self catering so you obviously need to bring your own food etc. You're provided with an information book when you enter. Basics like toilet roll, wee shower gels, coffees etc are provided. Every room was clean, it is a building that's from the 1800's from what I remember? Obviously it has some character to the rooms, which I really like. It's a very historical area. Wifi worked perfect. Showers were nice and warm (two of the shower rooms have a ceiling shower which was awesome). We all slept great (The huge windows in all the rooms - which are fantastic to soak in all the views - let sunlight in even when the blinds are shut tight in the early hours of the morning, this is easily fixed with an eye mask if you're like me and prefer it dark). You can change the settings on the radiators to suit yourself if too hot or too cold. We also found the apartment & area to be nice and quiet at the time of our stay, the locals are really friendly & helpful. I honestly hope anyone who stays here is respectful - you won't be disappointed with the apartment & the surrounding area. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we visit Stirling. It's close to everything you would want to see, but at just a 10 - 15 minute walk from the city centre, it's more peaceful than staying somewhere close to all the business. Just get yourself some decent walking shoes if you don't take a car (we were on foot for everything).
