It was private and had every thing you could need. We just wanted somewhere to stay the night as we were going to a party. Sorry never got the chance to thank the owners as left at 6 am for work the following morning . But a massive thank you for a lovely welcome .

Minor niggles - the heating is controlled from the house, which I'm guessing is a bit cosier than the apartment, so early in the morning it was bit chilly (in January); the wifi dropped out a couple of times; no desk to work from (though not advertised as one); but the biggest issue had nothing to do with the apartment - it was the *massive hill* to cycle up from Morpeth!

The apartment was clean and well equipped, with walk-in shower, comfy be, lounge area and a well equiped kitchen. Milk, T&C and crisps (!) all supplied. And the garage next door to park the bike was a great bonus! Morpeth is lovely - and the bagpipe museum really is a treat.

Everything was perfect. April allowed us to check-in early and was very friendly. The apartment was very cosy and perfect for us.

Great location for a stopover on our way North. Unbelievably good food cooked by our hostess, booked in advance. The tastiest homemade lasagne ever, salad and flatbread with wild garlic butter. Great value ! We stayed again on our way back, and enjoyed it again.

Right on the edge of town -- best to have a car. There is a bus that goes close by, but it only runs every 2 hours and the driver denied that it went in the right direction. A taxi costs £8, and we couldn't get one for 2 hours while they all did school runs. Owner away when we arrived (dealing with an emergency) and it took us a while to realise that the key was in the door.

Comfortable apartment with well equipped kitchen. Delicious breakfast food left for us, especially home made bread. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk. Attractive garden with a table for sitting out if it is warm enough. Path at the back which leads round the edge of a new housing estate. Close to the busy A1, but no traffic noise inside the apartment.

There is nothing that we didn't like.

The place was so clean and comfy. The hosts were very friendly and gave us recommendations on where to visit. We got extra bedding for the sofa bed and got to use the little table outside. Parking on the drive.

The property is very spacious, light and well equipped with beautiful decor. There was nothing else we needed that wasn't included. Comfy bed too! Breakfast hamper (for a small cost) was great with homemade bread and a fruit platter. The bike storage facility was also a bonus to us and one of the reasons to book the property! Great hosts - thanx for a lift to Morpeth.

Fabulous accommodation with everything needed for a perfect stay. Great information from the host with local recommendations and advice. Great location and base for exploring Morpeth and the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend!
