Maybe general maintenance upkeep - like doors not closing properly, seemed a bit confused about what was in the house welcome pack wise but that did not interfere with our stay at all and would go back definitely

We wanted to be near a particular restaurant and this was perfect, liked that there was 2 bathrooms as there were two couples and we both like our own bathroom, lovely outside space had the weather been kind but it is Scotland so we didn’t expect a lot 🤣

Ally was a friendly and helpful host. The house was located on the main road running through Auchterarder with shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

No designated parking though you can park on the street. Previous years have had no problems but did see increased parking from other vehicles compared to prior years.

Very comfortable property, easy to get to and a good location to travel to other places from.

Perhaps a tumble dryer would have completed this very comfortable, welcoming home.

The house was very tidy and tastefully presented. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was comfortable. The main bedroom had its own ensuite. The kitchen and dining room was complete with of .all the necessary utensils.. Towels and shampoos were available in the bathrooms.

To be honest we had everything we needed, no minus points.

The house was very welcoming with plenty of room for 6 of us. We spent most of the time in the well appointed kitchen as this was set out with bench seats, a table and a breakfast bar. However the sitting room was also comfortable with 3 sofas to chose from. All three bedrooms were clean along with the bathrooms.

Nothing to not like as it suited our needs perfectly.

Plenty of space for our party of six. Great size kitchen and dining area and well equipped. Large lounge area for relaxing. Dog friendly and fully enclosed back garden. Parking directly outside the property. Although not dedicated parking, it was always available.

Stairs had quite narrow steps and steep for one of our older members of our party. Not having a bathroom on the ground floor also made it more difficult for her.

Location, en-suite shower room. Everything you need for a few days away.

Only two things: careful on the stairs, they are quite steep and narrow for the feet. There's a fireplace but unfortunately there wasn't any wood for it. But I'm sure it can requested.

Beds were very comfortable. There were all appliances in the kitchen plus basic supplies and little more (coffee-normal & decaffeinated, porridge, condiments, different kinds of tea, biscuits), washing powder, soaps, shampoo, conditioner and bath and shower gel just like in a hotel.

In the first twin bedroom the cable for the blind needs to be fixed to the wall - this is a total strangulation risk at the moment and was scary as my toddler wanted to go to the window and look out. also the curtains are too short and let the light in

There was nothing we didn't like but if I had to say something it would be that there is no WC on the ground floor. A minor inconvenience, which might have been more annoying had the weather been kinder and we'd been able to spend more time in the garden. But honestly, it was no biggie for us.

This is our 5th trip to Auchterarder and our first staying at Garron House. The size of the property was much bigger than we required but it afforded us space, and gave us ample home from home facilities. The house was immaculate in terms of cleanliness, and the personal touches, of which there were many, made us feel very welcome. The kitchen is fully equipped with absolutely everything you've probably got at home, and then some. The bedrooms are spacious, and the master has an en-suite shower room. There is a family bathroom, with tub, along the landing. Linen, and towels, were pristine, and there was plenty wardrobe space, including coat hangers :). It's only a 5 minute walk to a good sized Co-op or 2 minutes to a small Spar. On street parking is available. We'll be back!

Very comfortable with great thought put into the layout of the house and everything available within it. Even lovely treats for our dog!
