Hallways could do with being painted and modernisation. Needs better outside signage as we drove past twice looking for the hotel.

Bedroom looked recently decorated,bedding was white and spotless,and the bathroom was clean. No proper bacon served for breakfast,other than that the breakfast was well cooked and fine.

Would definitely stay again. It was very reasonably priced so I wasn't expecting 5 star but it was very clean, bed was comfortable, staff were friendly: Location perfect for me. I was even able to park my car right outside the front door. I didn't want a cooked breakfast and was happy with the continental.

There was nobody there to check us in even though it was 3.15pm & it was raining hard.. The sign on the door said reception was open at 3pm. The door was locked. We rang the phone number & a lady came to let us in. There was no apology or even a smile.

My room, which was a single, didn’t look anything like the photos on booking.com. There was only one coat hanger in the room, and no coffee sachets - both of these were remedied by the receptionist. The plug in the bathroom basin would not seal - this could not be readily fixed without a plumber.

Clean, modern facilities. Breakfast was very good.

I had a room on the front, due to the warm weather needed the windows open, the traffic noise was quite high throughout the night. My son's room (no 1) had a leaking gutter dripping onto a car parked outside his window.

A well presented hotel, recently decorated, appeared clean and tidy. Plenty of parking available. Nice cooked breakfast. Pleasant staff.

I had to leave before reception opened and there were no dacilities for leaving the key or checking out. Eventually Ii left the key and ekectric card in my room

The only slight complaint is that I was in room one, which has a lot of lighting outside. The blinds were not really adequate to keep the light out. Thicker curtains would be better. But... I slept ok.

The rooms were very dated, and not quite as the pictures showed, some of the rooms were very compact as well. The location was quite noisy at night, up and down the main road. The breakfast area isn't the best layout and isn't the most welcoming.

Booking in was quite easy, and the bathrooms were nice. The staff were very polite. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is reasonably priced for what is on offer.

The surrounding area of the building was a little unclean with dust and generally untidy, however the room was very clean.

The property was very simple and what you paid is what you got. The room was very clean and spacious, with a private shower and toilet. Lots of wardrobe space, mirrors and plug sockets. The location was great, only a walk away from the beautiful friars way which has lovely restaurants, bars and shopping. We didn’t eat breakfast as we were late waking but breakfast was included in the price.

Completely different in the picture and in fact, I wrote that I was asking for a quiet room on a low floor, and I got it at the very top and from a busy street. You can hear cars driving by, you can't sleep. Water on shower only hot.

Parking was tight. The trains going past took some getting used to. While the bed linen was of good quality I don't like to see holes in bed sheets. I personally found the pillows a little hard
