The exterior or the hotel, especially the car park, flower beds and view from the back out of the breakfast room were rather disappointing and didn't reflect the interior of the hotel, staff and quality of the accommodation, which we could not fault. First impression are important.

The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. the rooms were very comfortable and clean. breakfast was very good quality and plenty available.

The single bed was a little short for my height and the mattress was a little bit firm. Also couldn't get the water at the right temperature for the shower but overall the sleep was okay

Heating wasn't on on arrival, had to call reception but they apologised and turned it on. A bit expensive.

Outside of the Hotel need attention, gardens overgrown. Outside generally looked dirty.

The condition of the carpark and outside of the hotel looked as though some maintainence was required.

The room was of a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also well sized and easy to manouver around. The hotel bar had a good selection of drinks and the staff were most personable. This stay was for a race weekend at the very near by Clay Pigeon Kart Raceway and this hotel is perfect as it takes just over a minute to get there. The recommendations for a near by pub were good.

It was a pity the hotel was virtually closed and we were the only guest that night. I'm sure when it is fully-functioning, there is little not-to-like.

The room and the WIFI were excellent. Unfortunately, the dining room and bar were closed and there was only one member of staff on site in the day.

The hotel is far from all amenities. The restaurant and bar on site are closed and the nearest place to eat is few miles away and can be reached by car only. Don't expect to find a table unless you have booked in advance, we spent our first evening driving around for couple of hours trying to find a decent place to have a meal and ended up going to off licence we came across and had sandwiches in our room. The hotel is perfect for a place to sleep only, not a holiday base.

The room was spacious and very clean although the decor was a little dated. The bed was big and mattress very comfortable. Sheets and towels crisp white. Very quiet for a good night sleep. The bathroom was spotless, excellent water pressure. We had everything we needed in the room. A small fridge would have been very useful especially as there is no bar/restaurant on site. Staff were very polite and accommodating.

Resteraunt and bar closed. No deliveries would deliver to this address, therefore had to go without any dinner or drinks. Was asked at check in what we wanted for breakfast. At checkout charged an additional £20.

I arrived at 4.45pm and didn’t see anyone, but the cards and number of room was left for me by the entrance by the lift. The building felt as it was deserted as there was no cars in the car park around 6pm. Bar and main reception Both dark and locked. In the morning still no staff. one other car in car park.. not worth the money I paid as l didn’t get full hotel experience!

poor choice of food. No housekeeping room not cleaned , towels not changed, condiments not replenished. Bar not open as promised on Sunday night. Sauna, spa shut.
