The windows were disgusting full of feaces on the outside off birds could barely see out of them for finger marks n dirty hand prints on inside

Not enough staff on duty. Restaurant not up to a.standard I would have expected. No pinot noir available although on menu. Jambalaya not available. Check out involved waiting for.a.receptionist.to appear and this took 10 minutes.

No sauna as it was being worked on at time of checkin 3pm one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel , pool felt cold , no heating on when we checked in and cold we arrived back late eggs at breakfast where snotty obv waiting for the hotplate to carry on cooking them but undercooked when we got our breakfast and cooked ones were taken away

Very trivial, but additional hot drinks would be useful in the room, there were very few. But nothing serious that wasn't liked.

The entrance card had to be updated daily at the reception as it would not open the room's door. Would have been good to have a larger variety of food on the restaurant's menu.

The room was far too hot. We were on the ground floor and couldn't leave the window open. The plates at breakfast were tea plates. I would expect a full size plate for the cooked breakfast.

The room was extremely hot and we had no way of cooling it down. It was the end of September so not a hot time of year so not quite sure why the room with so warm with no heating on? The window only opened about an inch and it made it very hard to sleep. Shower was broken and only gave out boiling hot water, there was no way to combine some cold water so we couldn’t even cool off with a cool shower . Shower was also quite dirty. Very noisy over night. There was some kind of event, maybe a wedding, and there was a lot of noisy guests until about 330 am.

The hotel was in a good location. Not too far from the town centre.

Always get a warm welcome here. Rooms are great, always clean and never hot/stuffy. Restaurant food is fab and nice to have the option of a spa area. I was able to take a walk around the grounds, its a quiet area and felt safe.

The pool is rediculas, far too small for a hotel with this many guests. Only 3 adults could swim safetly. Jacuzzi broken 😢. Shockingly there are red hot heating pipes giving off huge heat in the bedrooms, And no aircon, there was a small fan available however the plug sockets were no where near the beds so no use during the night, the heat was absolutely unbearable so we had to sleep with the window wide open, being on the ground floor at the rear of the building, in an open grassed area with no security... for 2 women was not great... In fact it was really awful not only was there a fear of intrusion we were also quite worried about spiders etc... Hense no sleep for the entire stay. This was really distressing in the heat of summer to have a heating source on in the rooms ... With no aircon is really really dreadful. Outside the windows on the lawn was alot of strewn mess... Food cartons & drink bottles.. Looked like they had been thrown from the upstairs rooms & had been there a while, the front of the hotel was the same. Shame really because a little more attention to detail could really improve this nice place.

The food in the restaurant was excellent. The restaurant is the best part of the hotel The lady staff member at the spa was really lovely. The bar staff were also really lovely The hotel generally had a nice ambiance. Beds were very comfy 😊 Reception area very nice & welcoming. Room pleasant for the price.
