I didn't expect that the car park would be just a car park on the street. The bed mattress was very uncomfortable, and I struggled with a sore back all day. The bathroom wasn't really clean, and the shower drainage was blocked. As the bathroom was shared, it wasn't a pleasant experience standing in water. Netflix didn't work; it said, "Your TV is not registered."

I liked that the rooms gave a cosy feeling and well-equipped kitchen. Very nice, understanding and polite owner.

Needs some wd40 on the doors. Got blinds but would have been good to have curtains too, not a massive problem though.

Is a very residential area. So was very quiet / deserted at night. Felt safe at all times nevertheless.

It was stated as a double room but had twin beds and there was no milk to make any drinks , was a good job we had a blue badge as there was no parking permit ( not the owners fault ) but check it will be there before staying ! Other than that all was good 👍

Lovely comfortable clean accommodation, great response from the owner no problem with gaining access. Warm welcoming home! Great after a long day at work, lovely local takeaway food very close to town +++ on street parking (free) was a bonus in a nice quiet residential area! Definitely will stay again

Was cold on the night but blankets and duvet were very cozy.

Very quiet throughout the night, easy checking in and out. Very cozy room, loved the blankets and hairdryer available. TV worked really well with Netflix as a bonus. Easy access to the city centre.

Lots of little touches that made it feel very homely. Great kitchen facilities and bathroom. Although shared, very clean and lock on doors which work. Was a little cold but they have blankets which are a lovely touch. Would stay again.

Don’t be fooled by glamorous. Maybe it’s me but at no point did glamorous appear to me. Very 80’s plastic gold coloured toot. Front door step gives it away slightly being completely rotten and half crumbling to bits. Bathroom is modern and nice.

Not much to dislike really. If anything, the single mattresses weren't the comfiest. Very soft and springy. But for an overnight, good enough!

Good value room and a pleasant stay for an overnighter in Leeds. Close to city centre and fairly quiet location. Got woke up by birds, not traffic! 😀

Very good place to stay, but unfortunately the noise isolation is not so good, I didn’t sleep because of neighbours noises in the nearby room. I didn’t get the wi-fi details after check-in, but only the next day. This small detail is better to be improved. Thank you!

Before even staying in the property, I received a profoundly offensive email from the owners. The tone of this went away beyond unfriendly and into threatening and accusatory. Addressed as if we were coming bent on destruction, the message listed numerous fines and charges and penalties and fees if our conduct did not comply with the owner's numerous rules. Being made to feel uncomfortable, before even setting off, was not the best of starts and I would urge them to rewrite this email so as not to alienate their guests. One of the many rules is that guests don't wear shoes in the house. There are various pairs of slippers and sliders left throughout the property. These aren't sealed and seem to just be supplied for endless numbers of feet to slip in and out of. Gross. We just moved around in our socks, preferring not to risk the communal fabric/plastic slippers. In this house, there are locks on the two bedrooms upstairs but the rest of the house is shared between these two rooms. This is enormously awkward and manages to recreate exactly the student or shared house strangeness I've made a decisive move away from. When we arrived, the last guest's washing up had been left on the draining board, to give that truly unnerving shared house feel. The couple in the other room checked with us that they were ok to use the shower etc which was lovely but so so weird. When using the shared spaces, then, you're left feeling like you shouldn't be. There's a feeling of wanting to be out of the place as soon as you're in it. 'GLAMOROUS ROOM WITH NETFLIX' reads the title of the rooms description. Please note, THIS ROOM IS NEITHER GLAMOROUS, NOR DOES IT HAVE NETFLIX. After we got back, we thought we'd relax in front of the TV in our room. But, no. The TV in the room had a Netflix button but, when I contacted the host for the login, was told we had to use our own. This is not cyber secure so we didn't.

It was a relatively short walk into the city, which meant it was fairly easy to get away from this strange and uncomfortable place.

I hadn't realised that it was effectively a bedroom in a house shared with other guests (they were pleasant enough) - including the bathroom. I was slightly puzzled by the shower sliders left throughout the house - were they for use, or was the family away?

Good location for city centre. Beds were fine, reasonable wifi.
