We paid £7.50 each for towels and bedding but were given sleeping bags that had not been washed. The sheet that was meant to be used inside the sleeping bag for hygiene was very odd and uncomfortable. We were disappointed to pay extra for bedsheets and not get real bedsheets. Decreased our comfort.

    Great location near local amenities

We couldn't access the communal room in main hostel which we have used before and because there was 12 of us there was nowhere for us to have sociable time I.e cards chess

First time staying in pods, comfortable and price was excellent The pods were comfortable heated too and was great value for money

The pod smelt very much of dog and there was dog hair still on the floor I appreciate the pods can be used by people with animals but a good clean afterwards would have been ideal, partner had to take some antihistamines to sleep.

Lovely location, pod was perfectly sized for one night, showers and toilet were very close by. Beds were comfortable and the pod was warm and dry.

    The wifi wasn't great.

I've stayed in other glamping pods that were horribly small and cold; unit 10 was wonderful.

    Nothing not to like.

Quiet location next to the river, large spacious pod with kettle and microwave. Warm and relaxing, a bonus on the penultimate day of the West Highland Way!

It was freezing cold and The lighting inside the pod was not proper. One lamp was almost fused and dull so it was kind of dark. If u had warm light or one floor lamp / wall lamp would be very cozy.

It’s an experience to stay in a pod like this . It could accommodate 4 but a bit tight in space. Had a small fridge& water kettle. The common toilet is just a few steps away. Had good shower facility and toilets were clean.

The drying room that was supposedly activated in the night hours did not dry anything of our clothing, and we had to waste an hour trying all means to dry our shoes and towels and bags before continuing on our journey. No hairdryer is provided.

The staff are very friendly and the place is very nice, right next to the river with a nice view of the icy mountains.

They very generously upgraded me to a larger cabin as I'd prebooked!

It would have been nice to be able to use the hostels indoors facilities as the weather was making it hard to cook outside.

The location was incredible, great views and a walking distance to a local pub and a shop. The pod was clean, dry and warm. It had a mini fridge and a kettle which was a lifesaver. The toilets and bathroom were clean and warm.

Not really a big issue but the outdoor flooring was stones and if people was walking about at night it could get irritating

On the river front so it was a nice peaceful place

Staff were not overly friendly, never really spoke to us at check-in/check out, asked if we had plans, a nice stay etc. Also, a large group were camping on the site on the Saturday night - they were very noisy, marching back and forward till all hours and then again very early in the morning. This ruined the ambience for us and also woke us up very early on Easter Sunday. They also took all our outdoor benches so in the morning when we got up to have our morning coffees, we couldnt sit outside on our bench and the weather was gorgeous! Perhaps if you have a big group like that staying (20+ people), it might be useful to open the top gate by the camping field and ask them to go via the car park rather than back and forward past everyones pods. :)

We staying in a glamping pod which was cosy and well equipped, we had everything we needed. Beds were comfy! Was perfect location and great if you are travelling with a dog. Shower and toilets were clean and the pot wash area was handy and well equipped.

Laudry!!!! I stayed in the pods for 3 weeks. There are no public washing machines. I was told that maybe there would be space for laudry if the cleaners had time. I payed 1200pounds for 3 weeks and I was told laudry would cost 10pounds extra. For longner staying guests laudry should be an obvious thing and for free.

I stayed at the pods in low tourist season, it was very quiet. Everything in the village is close. The CO-OP groceries store has some good value food options after 1800 so sometimes you can score cheap fruit or other stuff.

Only one problem, the wooden cladding inside must have been cleaned and not wiped down properly as there was white residue all over it like it had been cleaned but not wiped of properly, wasn't a big issue I gave it a wipe with a clean cloth and it was fine, just to let you know for future cleaning. Thanks

Loved the little pods cosy warm, just stayed for the one night, stars were out was perfect, next to the town for food and drinks either in the local pubs or from the shops, 👍🤠

The toilets. No fault of the staff, it's the people staying here that can't use a toilet properly. Poo on the toilet seat is unacceptable.
