The hotel decor is a bit tired, but it certainly wasn’t a problem to us. Only limited parking, but plenty of spaces in Betws-y-coed, we dropped our luggage off and walked back.

Very nice dog friendly, family run hotel, helpful and pleasant staff, the breakfast was very good, nice bar, lovely atmosphere, fantastic central position, comfy bed.

The rooms design and the dinning areas - it is not something cheap or easy to fix.

    A bit expensive.

Room only got 1 bar of wifi, tv in the room was tiny, tap wouldn't fully turn off so could hear it all night

Location was perfect, breakfast was fine but didn't need much better. Room was clean and a good size bed was pretty comfortable but nothing to shout about. All the members of staff were so friendly!

Nothing negative to say really. It is as you'd expect

This is not our first stay at Glan Aber and as always it was really good. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the beds comfortable. The shower was powerful and spacious and the room well lit. Breakfast is good quality and substantial and lots of other extras such as Danish pastries and good filter coffee available too. Will be happy to book here again when next back in the area

Parking bit of an issue, but given hotel location I don’t think much could be done about that.

Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Good selection for breakfast. Vegetarian included. Restaurant clean and well maintained. Booked a time for breakfast so no loitering outside waiting for a table. Enjoyed an excellent evening meal which was well presented. The bar has a very good selection of beers, an adjoining games room with entertainment for everyone. Room clean, tidy with excellent selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. Bath with shower and plenty of hot water. Good selection of complimentary toiletries. Happy with our location, overlooking the high street, road noise acceptable which never kept us awake.

    Nothing, it was all good

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town close to shops and lots of place to eat. Also it is dog friendly and we never holiday without our dogs.

More attention should have been given to the cleaning of the room - it was clean and tidy but we’ve found a few itens in the room that didn’t belong to us. Minor things, like a packet of tissues, but still…

Excellent location, walking distance from the village centre and train station. Good choice of breakfast, hot and cold. Quick service and staff very friendly. The communal areas were cozy and comfortable, dinner and bar service quick. We travelled with a dog and everyone was very accommodating. We felt very welcomed (I’m sure Kolby, the dog, also felt very happy with the treats and patting)

The bunkhouse was separate from the rest of the hotel, which wasn’t overly frustrating, but meant accessing all the facilities meant moving between buildings; the property lacked full access as it is significantly raised above the street, which could exclude some guests.

The bunkhouse was comfortable enough for the exceptional price on offer; the facilities were excellent and in good working order; the location is excellent for exploring the village and surrounding areas, about which the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, and of course they were exceedingly helpful, and great company! It is easy to see that they enjoy working in this location and are exceedingly courteous and friendly. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced, offering a wide selection of cuisine, for all sizes of appetite! The bonus of the spa room (£ extra) cannot be underestimated after long days exercising - very welcome!

We had a dog friendly room and even though i suppose it was a quiet location in the hotel - (top floor and the end of corridor) it was a bit of walk to take him out for a toilet break. Very small point and appreciate its difficult to suit all needs.

friendly staff building has lots of character, great location and nice room. Couldn't make the breakfast as we set off early so they did us a continental type bag each instead.
