I’d have liked a hairdryer but absolutely not a deal breaker

Loved the whole experiences, particularly tasty fresh eggs and bread and butter and milk available

There was a lovely terrace with loungers, but the lounger seat covers had been left out so were not clean enough to use as there were bird droppings on them. We found the mattress on the bed very firm so quite uncomfortable for us.

We liked the spaciousness and the styling of the property; furnishings and decor were stylish and nice quality. The bed linen and pillows were excellent quality. We also liked the setting on the owners' farm amidst a natural landscape with farm animals for added interest. The owners were friendly and helpful.

Nothing ....I wouldn't keep returning otherwise!!

I love ❤️ this place so much . Beautiful country small holding with lots of animals. ....the view is beautiful. The space is perfect inside, dining table, sofa, t v, not that you need to watch t v ...perfect for sitting and reading a good book or listening to all of nature's sounds. The couple that run it are really lovely aswell.

Slight smell coming from the plugs or drains in the bathroom, but I imagine this is to be expected on a working farm.

Comfortable and relaxing environment, great views, wonderful surroundings, really welcoming hosts.

    Nothing major.

The hosts are among the friendliest, kindest, and most caring people I’ve met while travelling! The apartment is located on a family farm, the clean contemporary farmhouse interior style and antique mixed with mid-century furniture pieces helped me clear my mind and relax. It is an extremely idyllic place, I got woken up by the geese honking outside the balcony. Such a peaceful, tranquil place to recharge and have some good sleep. There's a large supermarket 5 mins walk from the property so you can get anything you need.

Fantastic long weekend in a lovely property in a really relaxing setting, ideal for the 2 of us. Easy walking distance from Hay but quiet and out of the way. Warm welcome on our arrival, and a nice touch were the eggs, along with essentials like bread and milk. Appreciated the Christmas touches, and the stove was wonderful after a wet walk!

All home comforts, beautiful furnishing and delightful location with wonderful views across the fields. The apartment is on the owners' land but very private nonetheless. The walk into Hay is only ten to fifteen minutes. We found our torch/head torches useful when it was dark, for the couple of hundred yards on Hereford Road where there is no pavement. We hope to be staying at Glanwye again in the future - definitely recommended!

    There was nothing to dislike.

A very welcoming host. The converted goat shed was just what we wanted. It was a 15 minute walk into Hay which was just fine. We were close to the river and the views were excellent. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The whole place was very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Hmmm. Flies... we're a proper nuisance!! Think more came in when opening the door to let them out !! I'm just being picky there, tho...bit scary reversing car ( as chickens and turkeys around), faith is needed, though.. As they will move...lol... apart from that , not one thing i didn't like.

The kitchen was well equipped, a draining rack would of been super helpful to drain cutlery....although , there was a dishwasher...!! Very peaceful, all the farmyard animals were really lovely, proper farm...very rustic and felt like a very organic place. At one with nature...makes you appreciate people, places, natures rthymn and life force. Respect 🙏 and nurture.

Took a bit to locate, needs a sign to indicate where it was. Some noise transfer between the ground and upper floor apartment, but it definitely did not spoil our holiday. Need to be aware that if you walk into Hay there is a small amount of road with no pavement. Not a problem at all for us, maybe take a torch in the winter.

Super comfy bed. Everything was very clean, really good equipment and eco products. Lovely and relaxing. Hosts could not do enough for us. Excellent. Only 10 mins walk out of Hay.

Not really a complaint but a small roadside sign at the entrance would have helped. Easy to miss (and we did 😂).

We stayed in the top apartment of the barn conversion; beautifully furnished, clean and well equipped. Incredible location being able to sit on the terrace and relax whilst watching the chickens, geese and goats. Short walk into Hay-on-Wye.
