Vanessa was a great host. She made sure that the place was all cleaned up and we appreciate the little goodies she left for us. Stunning views with very close proximity to town center for food options. Vanessa was in touch through and updated us with all the required information. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for peaceful lovely place in Portree.

Really very happy with everything.. possibly a brighter lamp for evenings would be good, and maybe an instruction for hot water in the kitchen (although this may have been stupidity on our part also..)

Fabulous location, really central- only a few minutes from the centre of Portree. Property was comfy, warm and really cosy - on clear nights amazing views of the stars!

Let's start with Vanessa. Kind, courteous, just a wonderful host. The chalet made my trip to Skye even better. Rustic but modern, with all the amenities you would need. Quiet, picturesque perfection. The location is central to everything Skye has to offer. Close enough to town to grab breakfast or dinner, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet countryside at the end of your day. I highly recommend this place to anyone staying on the Isle. :-)

Host Vanessa was very prompt, helpful, and friendly. The directions to reach the place were meticulously drafted, so it became very easy for us to reach the place. The Lodge was quite spacious. It had everything we needed in two nights.

Free wi-fi would've been great, and perhaps thicker curtains. Shower was also a little lacklustre but it is a pod with an electric shower.

Cosy little pod in a really stunning location not far from Portree. The room was clean and tidy, and warm. Lovely to get the free biscuits, museli, hot chocolate and bottle of wine on arrival! Really nice touch.

Pod was a little difficult to find, as the sign is small and not facing the road directly. TV didn't seem to work, but that wasn't a problem for us.

Large, modern, comfortable, private pod in the grounds of the owner's home. Nice rural views, but near enough to Portree. Ness was very helpful, especially regarding proving details of local garages who could fix our car (we picked up a bit of pothole damage on Raasay, unfortunately). No wifi, but we used our data. We had a lovely stay, thank you.

Everything was perfect

I had a wonderful time at Glenview Lodge. The chalet is very clean, well equipped and cozy. Best sleep for ages! :-) The host is very friendly and the communication was great. Also perfect location for daytrips on Isle of Skye. I am totally happy and truly recommend Glenview Lodge. Will definitly come back :-)

Only mirror was on the bathroom wall with no proximate plugs to dry/straighten hair, but no other complaints really - we were really happy with our stay.

Host very welcoming from the get go - communication excellent and very accommodating. Lodge was bigger than expected, very comfortable, clean and had good amenities. The host provided towels and robes which was a nice touch. Close enough to drive into Portree.

Unbelievably clean, the host does a huge job in cleaning in between visits. Felt like a completely new room! We were both happy with the accomodationa and the hotel! Great location near the town of portree!

The chalet was very clean when we arrived. The location was great for taking day trips to explore other areas of the island. Vanessa was a great host, providing information in a timely manner. There were many helpful books and reference material for things to do around Skye; these were very useful when looking for extra things to do.

The floor wasnt heated unlike other pods but wear thermal socks helped so we overcome the small issue.

Vanessa was an excellent host, so kind of her to even provide a bottle of milk and so many snacks. Pod was clean, cozy n comfortable. No wifi but we managed to use our data. Highly recommend anyone who is looking for a great glamping experience and to explore the Isle of Skye. Perfect location.

Realizing cabs are available, the drive on single lane roads are an experience if you aren't use to it.

Great little cottage, with all necessary amenities! Would recommend if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

the location was amazing! the camping pod was so perfect and the host, although we didn’t meet, went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. she provided snacks and a bottle of Prosecco for us to enjoy while there.
