The only thing we struggled with was that with it being an older building the sound travelled - it wasn't so bad you couldn't sleep, but it was noticeable

Amazing location, bathroom was really modern, service was great - Charles and Tom were lovely and made sure you had everything you might need (especially loved the 'check in' sheet in the evening, to check everyone was home safe and sound)

The room was tiny , with barely enough room to squeeze past the bed into the micro sized bathroom . It was described as small to be fair on the booking details .

We were met by a very welcoming Sam , who really Couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable . The setting was stunning with the gardens beautiful. The breakfast was gorgeous and the service super Slick

Everything was amazing- staff were really friendly & attentive, location was gorgeous, rooms & decor were lovely too. I read my book by the fire, very peaceful! Breakfast was delicious and we even had homemade cookies left in our room- really lovely touch :) thank you!

There was nothing I did not like. Everything was just beyond our expectations. Location, room, dining area, lounge, food. All perfect. A good place to go with families.

We loved our room. We booked a smaller room, but the hotel has given us a larger room with the same price and they said it was as a compliment. We celebrated our 25th there. The room was clean and bigger. All facilities. The bathroom was excellent. All modern fittings. Loved the service. Sam was an excellent staff. Always asked about our satisfaction. Helped take photos :D. Both dinner and breakfast were great! I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in Ross on Wye. We requested a very early check in which we knew would be difficult and this was explained to us, however we were told we could leave bags and car on site. When we arrived we were greeted by Sam, who is a natural host, he made us feel very welcome and comfortable, genuinely 20/10 for service and hospitality! Sam informed my wife and I that they had managed to get the room ready for us which was above and beyond what they needed to do for us. Showed us to our room and made sure we were aware of all the important information. We left and didn't get back until late but Sam explained how to get back in and to sign in so they knew we got home safe which is a nice touch. Excellent

Characterful Manor House in beautiful location, Sadly lacks modern facilities, ie shaver socket, Small bathroom with inconsistent electric shower over the bath, Disappointed given the cost of the room.

Nothing significant although there was little pressure which caused the water to little more than a dribble from the cold tap in our en-suite bathroom.

We chose the continental breakfast which was adequate but did notice the very well presented cooked breakfasts being served to other customers. Also, staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and willing to engage with customers. A well stocked bar was available in the evening although the restaurant was not open on the nights we stayed at Glewstone. We will return again and combine the break when the restaurant is open.

nothing - although we did get a tiny room but as a bed for after a wedding it was perfect. if you were staying for a longer visit I’d recommend going for a larger room.

Sam and Charles were so welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make are stay wonderful. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The house itself is lovely and the setting is beautiful.
