I'm not the type who complains, I just wanted a bed to sleep on for the night. But £70 for a cramped room with a shared bathroom is a little excessive to me. But what do I know? I'm not a big traveller.

Very accessible and safe place, a far cry from what I'm used to back home. They had my keys just sitting at an unmanned desk, which I was taken back by. But after spending the night here, I understood how safe a town it is.

Complete absence of humans except for man serving breakfast. Staircase could do with a vacuuming! I guess parking might be tricky for car owners.

Delightful room. I loved the armchairs in the bay window. Bed very comfortable andnice tea/coffee tray. Shame en suite not available but no hassle for the bathrooms. Breakfast great! Location just right - 100 yards to sea front in one direction and a cheerful student-y bar 50 yards in the other. 15 mins walk to train and bus stations.

Clean house, friendly hosts, and breakfast provided. Other places you'd want to explore or get to are quite close by which is very nice whether or not you want to enjoy a walk or buy something. Overall a great stay.

Lots of stairs! , was an old style property, but they have made an effort to decorate nicely, and was generally quiet and comfortable. There was also no specific parking, but generally I could get a space close by on the street.

Not a criticism of the guest house itself but the stairs up to the top floor proved a challenge for my husband with his arthritic knees.

The location was perfect. Very close to the seafront and we were lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves on the shore. The town was within easy walking distance, which was great as my husband has walking difficulties. The breakfast was lovely and the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. Aberystwyth is a lovely seaside town with plenty to do and see. We took a trip on the Rheidol Heritage Railway and can thoroughly recommend it.

Lack of mirror above wash basin in room, especially as there was a shaver light. Also room was a little bit small for a twin bed.

Although we booked well in advance for the Bank Holiday i.e. more than 6 months ago, there were still no rooms left with ensuite facilities and there were quite a few steps up and down to the bathroom, Fine normally but when you have a bad knee it was abit of a struggle. It won't stop us coming back though but I will make sure that we have ensuite next time.

We have stayed here before and can't fault the staff, welcome, cleanliness and the excellent breakfast

The en-suite bathroom was very dated and it would be better if there was a proper shower over the bath or remove bath and fit a shower cubicle as small. Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, hooks on the bathroom door to hang clothes would be useful.

Location was great, close to sea front and parking outside the property was no problem. The family room was ideal on top floor for myself and two teenage girls and was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and the staff were helpful and friendly.

I did not expect for no one to be at the reception for the entirety of my stay and that it was self-check-in. It worked well, but asking a quick question etc was not possible. To have a room with shared bathrooms was okay but the price could be cheaper because of that.

I had a cozy and clean room and the city centre is very close by.
