The room could have been cleaner, skirtings were grimy, found hairs of previous occupant on table by mirror, and I of the towels although it felt clean had some lipstick on it. Traces of mould in by the bathroom

One bed was uncomfortable as not a regular single. Long queue for bar on return after 11.30, so gave up on that.

Great location for Bellahouston Park to see Muse. Triple room was good value.

Bathroom wasn't very clean, pee stains on wall by toilets, dust on skirting boards, mildew in shower. mattress basics and uncomfortable.

no lights at all in room, only bed light so it is dark I was struggling to read. The kettle in the room was leaking, the toilet and shower room so small you cannot turn without banging yourself somewhere. the bedding duvet had stain of blood on it (it was changed for us) and breakfast was dog food. We didn't even eat it.

The bed was ok and that is the only thing that was ok.

Getting to my room was a bit awkward for me being disabled & using walking sticks, straight out the lift I was faced with 3 stairs & a heavy fire door at the top. Stepping into the corridor was like walking into a furnace, it was so hot. The room itself was unlocked & much like the corridor was very hot. My partner asked for a fan but there wasn’t one available.

The staff make this place, they can’t do enough for you. Laura Taylor, single handedly ran both the restaurant & bar, that lady was amazing. It was no issue for her when I asked for a chair with arms to assist me in getting up & down at the table. Her people skills are second to none, she deserves a pay review! The food was lovely although the menu was very limited in choice & I loved the decor with the photos of Glasgow people across the decades. The bedroom was lovely, looked like it had been decorated recently & again the photos of Glasgow (the Ship Builders in my room) were a lovely reflection on Glasgows recently lost industrial past. The bathroom was brilliantly done with a large walk in shower & complimentary toiletries.

The room we had was very small and very dark. The mirror was in the totally wrong place. If you hang your clothes up, it covers the mirror.

women on the front desk and bar couldn’t be more unhelpful. 30 minutes to order drinks , the woman also thought we had to be 23 to drink alcohol?! should you not know this before working in hospitality?! kept asking reception when someone would come serve us and every time we would get told 2 minutes - half an hour later finally and again an unpleasant woman🤣 bathroom also not clean - stayed 2 nights under 2 different names and both bathrooms were mingin - random light in room jsut for show as there’s no plug at all for it🤣

Bed wasn’t comfortable causing 2 nights of poor sleep and continuing back pain a week later. No bar staff on the Friday night. Had to return to reception to ask someone to serve. Stacks of dirty glasses piled up on the bar. Decided against wine as given state of the bar didn’t feel confident that the bottles would be recent. Bought our own drinks at local garage for Saturday night. Having advised we were being two small dogs there was no advisory in the level of additional fees until we arrived which were £60 for 2 nights. Breakfast was better on Saturday when you could look at a menu but having looked forward to pancakes on Sunday they weren’t available and was a buffet cooked breakfast only or continental. Staff were pleasant and polite and all housekeeping team said good morning which I like.

Had no white wine available by late afternoon on our check in day. Similarly, the bar staff explained that they had no crisps or nuts by early evening and blamed this on football fans attending the local match at Ibrox. This explanation was rubbish, as we had been sat in the lounge since 4 o'clock and thereafter the bar area never got busy at all, so to blame this on football fans was nonsense.

Decent room and a good breakfast with plenty of choice. Ease of check in was noticeable.
