Difference of opinion about the mattress, too firm for one of us!

Beautiful hotel, room was a good size and very comfortable. We were able to check in early as the room was ready. Staff were super accommodating. There was a nice coffee machine in the room and a fridge. The hotel is well located. We both managed to park in the hotel car park.

Nothing really, I was looking for a good hotel in Cambridge where to relax and enjoy the city, this was just great!!!

Garden party on Saturday, very nice and relaxing atmosphere (and unexpected). I also liked the live jazz music at the hotel bar (mixed with the chocolate fondant was just awesome!)

The room was spacious but there was a lack of light due to the one small window.

Terrible nights sleep due to incredibly noisy air conditioning / heating unit in the room making loud noises every couple of hours. Breakfast was sub-par for what you are paying - the hot food lacked the quality that you would expect from such a setting.

Thought value for money wasn’t good. Car par parking, bar prices and breakfast were very expensive and didn’t think they were value for money.

Hotel looked amazing from the outside & did not disappoint on the inside Very nice welcome by the staff Very clean Bedroom was spacious & the bed was super comfy Had an issue with the TV but that was swiftly dealt with

Too busy with wedding party. Staff not attentive enough and lack in manners. Looked like some of them needed a good wash and some clean clothes.

All take no give. Apart from the free bike hire, nothing is offered within your room price. Prepare to pay for everything. Appreciate this is normal, but just felt starkly obvious. Parking is £28 per day. You have to get out by 11am and if you want to leave your vehicle for a while longer its a limited period. Appreciate its a busy area of cambridge so parking isn't easy, but opportunity knocks and taken here. Food in the room has to be ordered via an app which found me looking at £20 plus basic food with a £5 delivery charge. A lot of the food wasnt available so i gave up.. The staff were lovely working within the restraints of the owners who are probably never there , only when they need to up the game of chess to extract money or move money into their account ..

There wasn't a main overhead light or a desk lamp in the room so lighting was a bit difficult.

Staff were very friendly and everything was very convienant.

There was no standard three pin plugs / USB ports by the bedside. This meant we were unable to charge our phones by the bedside.

Lovely Hotel. Everything was finished to a high standard in a more traditional style re. furnishings. Worth mentioning that we received a lovely welcome from the gentleman at the desk - Reuben. He remained courteous and helpful throughout our stay and that meant a lot.
