What a beautiful little hideaway. Gorgeous location, incredibly peaceful, lovely set up, and gorgeous cabin. The wood-fired hot tub was fun, though leave yourself plenty of time to light a fire and heat it up. Definitely plan to come back.

The hut is in the most beautiful location, it's so peaceful and tranquil. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and the facilities were great, the hosts have literally thought of everything (and more!) The bed was cosy and comfortable, and the smart TV was a bonus. The log burner was really effective at heating the hut, and keeping it warm through the night. The hot tub was so clean and easy to heat, and was such a lovely treat. Hosts were very responsive via text. It was a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back.

This was the most peaceful place my husband and I have ever been to! It was the perfect place to recharge our batteries! The staff were incredibly responsive to messages and the location and set up exceeded our expectations! We will definitely return!

Accessibility to transport as I didn't have a car.

This Shepherds Hut is in an orchard next to a sheep paddock. It is absolutely blissful.

Absolutely loved this, so clean tidy and immaculate. Everything u could possibly need for a luxury night here, comfortable bed was an added bonus and the privacy is literally amazing didn't see anyone just sheep and cows, the little stand is just awesome and the fact I said we didn't have a fire pit and they put a log burner here for us outside was just a perfect little touch too highly recommend to everyone.

Privacy - really able to relax in peace

A basic path to the hut would be good, to avoid guests walking mud and grass into the hut during wet weather.

Loved the secluded location and privacy given by the hosts. The shepherd's hut was beautifully presented and clean with good basic facilities. No chance of getting cold if you make use of the wood burner, cosy and romantic touch.

No paper kitchen towel and a knife. And also no oil, salt and spices provided. So bring your own if you're going to cook and use the kitchen. No big deal as Rye town centre is just less than half and an hour drive away. Bring a portable fan in the summer for extra cooling comfort.

Excellent location. A haven away from the hustle and the bustle of the city and the crowd. A bottle of Lambrini and a pink balloon attached to it on the kitchen counter welcomed us on our arrival. My partner and I thought this was a very thoughtful gesture from the host. The basic stuff are provided for (eg. cutleries, plates, small pans, soap and tissue roll). A spacious personal fridge freezer was a delight as we cooked and brought some food and drinks to cool us down from the hot weather. There was even a portable grill for a BBQ outdoors. Also worth mentioning the linens smelled so fresh and clean.
