Breakfast was very poor experience - food quality was poor. Cooked breakfast dishes not what's said on the menu. Go accross the road for a better breakfast

The rooms were cold at times when the heating went off. It would be my only criticism.

The bar is relaxed and inviting. When you travel alone, the atmosphere in the main bar is great, not like your usual stuffy hotel bar.

Lovely room full of character with all the facilities of the pub downstairs, amazing value for money, very friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic breakfast too.

Nothing for me personally but, being a pub, families with young children might find it noisy as there was music until about 10:30 every night.

Staff were super friendly and helpful - as a lone female traveller I felt welcome and very safe. The cooked breakfasts were prepared to order with excellent choice. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower/bath had plentiful hot water.

The shower over the bath was leaking from the taps. The bath was very slippery with no grab rail although you could get a non slip mat from the bar. It was a cold room and bathroom but fortunately had a separate heater. We were not told what time breakfast was and on the first morning arrived 15 mins late when everything had been cleared away but fortunately Mark and the chef prepared coffee and a good breakfast for us. The pillows could do with updating, they were flat and hard.

It is in a great location for us to see my son and family who are only 10 mins walk away. It is good for parking and we had a spacious room with a sofa in it. The staff were friendly, especially Mark who was very helpful.

The room was relatively small but comfortable and well set up. Fine for an overnight stay.

The rooms were during the night too hot for us to fall asleep and now and then you can hear the sound of the pub.

It was exactly how an old pub supposed to look like! Loved it! Service was great, quick check in, 15 min away from the airport. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Unfortunately the heating went off in the evening as about 8 o'clock and came back on in the morning about 7 o'clock Tuesday. As I stayed it was very cold in the evenings on the first night I could've done with extra blankets or duvet or the heating put back on

All was very good.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful and nothing seemed too much of a problem for them. The location was good and the rooms were excellent and everything was clean and had clean bedding and comfortable bed etc. Very good indeed.

Ideal location 4.5 miles from the airport. Great pub, quiet comfy room, free safe parking, excellent meal & friendly staff. Loved the pies!! An overnight stay with character & atmosphere, far superior to an airport chain hotel.
