    Nothing really.

Very friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast. The coffee and tea making facility in the room was very much appreciated. Great shower, comfy bed, and we loved the petting farm next door - which we could see from our room. All in all, very happy. Thank you. ;-)

Bit nitpicky but wish the cabin had blackout curtains

We stayed in the Shepard's hut, as we were attending a wedding nearby. We wish we'd have booked an extra night! The hut has everything you need and was so cute! Staff were also very lovely

We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to one of the shepherds huts. This was a great space, very clean, cosy and comfortable. The views out of the window were stunning. We were greeted at reception by Sophie who was very friendly, helpful and professional. All other staff with the hotel were also friendly and welcoming.

Maybe plug sockets next to the bed, and it was annoying that the bathroom light was motion activated, not ideal in e middle of the night when we didn’t want the light to turn on

Fabulous breakfast, especially the eggs florentine and eggs Benedict Super friendly and helpful staff, we really enjoyed the stay

The room could have been warmer when we arrived, it took all night to get it to a reasonable temperature. The acoustics in the front lounge area are such that even slightly raised voices in the bar areas were amplified to such a level as to make conversation on the couches difficult.

Check in and evening meal were very good, room was very clean and the view was superb.

We love staying here. The only issue (and it is minor) is the creaking floors and bathroom noises from the upper floor!

The hotel looks fantastic with its upgrade. The staff here are so friendly and fun, rooms clean and comfortable, food is fresh, hot and delicious, breakfast the same and overall a fantastic stay again.

We stayed in the Shepard hut… view was amazing ! Words can’t describe how lovely the huts are. The venu itself is gorgeous, a lot bigger inside than it looks. Food was nice, homemade tomato soup a stand out and the garlic bread was the nicest we have ever had from anywhere. Amazing venu & ended up staying an extra night we liked the first night that much.

What a fantastic venue! The room was perfect, comfortable and cosy with superb views. The staff were super friendly and helpful from start to finish. I had an amazing steak and chips (to die for) for dinner. Very nice breakfast before I left, lots of choice and relaxed. Such a wonderful place. Can't wait to work in this area again!

Bar closed at 9pm. Even though we didn't avail of the service, would have been nice to be open to at least 10pm.

The hotel atmosphere was very warm and welcoming on such a miserable rainy Easter day. Room was basic but with luxury comfort. Bedding and bed linen was incredibly cosy. Light , bright room with modern blinds, curtains, carpet, etc which gave room period cottage luxury. Staff were very homely, inviting, friendly and you felt you could ask them for anything.

    Nothing.

I liked everything about The Grains Bar Hotel. From the greeting I received when i arrived to the send-off, i received when i was leaving. Everything was perfect. Everyone was so friendly and spent time chatting with me. The evening meal and breakfast were really good, with large portions, too. My room was spacious, clean, well presented and had everything that i needed. Nothing was too much trouble for Lisa and her team. I will return sometime, and i highly recommend others to visit too.

    Nothing, it was all amazing.

What a beautiful little gem, randomly chose this hotel as we had an event booked nearby. I didn't have a clue what it would be like, but what an amazing place. The place itself is beautiful and so clean and well kept even the outside areas were so clean and tidy. Bonus.... having the beautiful birds and animals right outside our window. The food was 10/10 and I am quite fussy with food...they served the best chips I've ever tasted, all homemade food. The staff were fabulous too, very helpful and super friendly. I cannot wait to come back in the summer. Thank you to all the staff for a fabulous stay.
