    A lovely Mother's Day weekend.

The location of Granary Cottage was excellent. It is in a small courtyard which was quiet and easy to access. The cottage was small but had everything we needed for our stay. It is arranged with the bedroom and bathroom downstairs and a cosy lounge and kitchen upstairs. It was very clean and the linens were good. The surrounding area had a lot of good walks for our small dog. We met up with my son, and his family for Mothers Day as he lives nearby. We had a lovely meal at the Butchers Arms easy walking distance from the cottage. There was also a handy Morrisons at the end of the street. Also on one of our walks we found Sarah Deli, great food. We would recommend Granary Cottage to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

Very disappointed the log burner was for decorative purposes only, this needs to be put in the description.

The location of the 2 pubs was perfect 😍

The only thing I could fault was the bed, the mattress was very lumpy and uncomfortable which affected us having a good nights sleep. If the mattress was replaced then everything would have been perfect.

The cottage is in a brilliant location, with in close walking distance to pubs and the local supermarket. The cottage was lovely and clean with plenty of facilities, it was perfect for us and our little dog.

Great place to stay in this lovely village. Private parking space outside and a short walk to good pubs, cafe and a shop. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very cosy. The upside down arrangement works well. It is well equipped for self catering if you need this option. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly (we met her as we arrived early) we really enjoyed our stay here and will hopefully be back when we visit this beautiful area next.

The only very minor thing would be that despite the fact everything was very clean, because it was a 'dogs allowed' property, a couple of the soft furnishings had traces of dog hair on them. Unavoidable but probably useful for anyone with strong allergies to know.

Really lovely space and a few really nice touches from the host. Warm, cosy and everything you would need! Fantastic location a maximum of 3 minute walk to anywhere in the village.
