Shortly before arrival we were told the payment had not gone through. It had but this was a mistake from Booking. Com

The beds were comfy. Very clean and the hosts welcoming. A welcome package of biscuits chocs etc. Kitchen well equipped. Coffee and tea in plentiful supply. Very pleasant grounds which could have been lovely to sit in had the weather been warmer. Great for families with children or without. Very peaceful location.

As a small lady I couldn’t actually reach any of the switches in the kitchen area.

It was very well situated and very comfortable. Liked the timberwork inside which gave it character and the thatched roof.

Single beds were hard. Sofas in the sitting room were hard to get out of - somewhat low.

It was just a bit galling to pay a very high cleaning fee and then also be asked to strip the beds and put all the rubbish out. Also, the 4pm check in time is very late.

The space is stunning, with a double height ceiling, original beams and a lovely terrace to sit out on. The whole place is beautifully decorated, clean and fully equipped with everything necessary to prepare meals - even a coffee machine with pods provided, and a dishwasher! Both bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the shower is excellent (bathroom is upstairs). Location-wise, it's right in the middle of many fun places to visit and lovely walks from the front door. The barn is well away from the road - which is not very busy anyway - with very good parking. 4 nights were not really enough to do this beautiful part of the country justice.

Nothing other than directions. We were just two and it may have been a squeeze for two couples with only one bathroom and toilet. Not a problem for us and overall we were very satisfied.

Location was excellent. Close to several places we were keen to visit. Walkable to an excellent local pub (The Golden Key). Only point for improvement would be directions to the property. We had trouble locating the farm initially and had to ask directions from a friendly dog walker.

I could not find any faults, but didn't look for them. It was perfect for a few days' getaway, exactly what the doctor ordered. Didn't want to leave.

Fantastic stay at Granary Barn in between Christmas and New Year (late review - sorry!). Had everything we needed, Downstairs bedroom big advantage with achy knees after a day out walking! Beautiful cosy barn near to Snape Maltings, many dog walks, great pubs. Supermarkets in Saxmundham couple of miles away. Beds comfortable. Was very cold, but it was December. Downside having to walk around the building to utility room to adjust heating but it worked very well and was very warm once got going. Loved the Grind coffee machine in the kitchen and the biscuits (thank you). The dog was mesmerised the morning after we got there by the cows in the field behind the cottage. Wonderful relaxing and quiet, would definitely stay again.

The double bed could do with a memory foam topper to make it less uncomfortable. A nest of tables would be a good addition to living area. Some foam inserts inside cushion covers of settee seating to improve comfort.

Great Location. Dog Friendly. Grass Area Outside Front Door. Two Sofas. Lovely soft throws on the beds.

Fantastic location, roomy cottage, a couple of needed changes to make this property excellent.

The sofas needed replacing as they were tired and not as comfortable as one would have expected. A drying rack and oven gloves would be helpful for the visitor. The green iron chairs outside needed replacing too, two out of the three were damaged as the legs had previously been broken off, which was dangerous to the user.

The location of the property was excellent. The property had lots of garden, fields and a pond. The wooden beams and thatched roofing gave the property a lovely ambience. The facilities TV with additional features Netflix etc, oven, microwave, etc were convenient. The beds were comfortable.

    See above - WiFi

Location great, facilities great apart from the WiFi (we only book properties with WiFi because work requires it) the WiFi would not work and hosts acted as if it was not something to worry too much about) we tried many time to get hold of them - finally they had to offer my husband a room in thief own house to attend a meeting but not before a lot of stress beforehand not knowing. Also we couldn’t watch films in the evening on our iPads which was a shame. Lovely property apart from that though

Was all lovely. No negatives. My only constructive comment would be have a couple more mugs as only two for a four bed place and we would loved to have had some games to play in the cottage. That’s only feedback and very minor. Lovely place.

Location is rural and peaceful but offers easy access to Aldeburgh and Southwold for trips for the beach and shopping and brunch. Hosts were lovely too. The granary barn was a fantastic size and had every home comfort we needed and we had a lovely couple days. No issue with WiFi so stayed connected if you wanted.
