Granary cottage is absolutely beautiful. So well equipped with everything from toilet rolls/cleaning stuff to children's toys. The place was spotless with no expense spared from furniture even down to towels. There is even a suggestion book in which they clearly take note and provide extra things that previous guests have suggested/recommended. It's a perfect rental especially if you want a home from home feel. The owners have clearly put so much thought into absolutely everything. There is nothing not to like it's just stunning

I found a lump of human faeces in the cupboard under the stairs next to the highchair. Had clearly been there a while judging by the smell. Sent a message through booking.com at the time and no response! Kind of put me off the place early on but made the most of the stay.

It was a little tricky to get into the car port when cars were parked opposite.

We loved the cosiness of the cottage. It was perfect for a large family with great living space and a wonderful garden that was perfect for our young child. It caters very well for children and our little boy really enjoyed the garden play area. Beds are comfy and the cottage was very clean. The kitchen had everything that we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The key lock box was very hard to open and close - also could add a hook to the box so you can hang the key in it then shut it otherwise it’s really finicky.

Beautiful home with amazing facilities. Thoughtfully set up with families in mind. We loved the toys and dvds, the great kitchen and all the facilities.

The parking was very tight, we had to move our vehicle because we couldn't get it in and out of the space due to cars parking directly opposite the drive.

The cottage was very well equipped, beautifully cleaned and very comfortable. They have thought of everything with children in mind, my granddaughters love playing with all the toys. Would definitely recommend this cottage and would like to come back again.

The property really didn’t let itself down at all, but if I had to be picky the shower space was very small. That said it was immaculate and the towels super fluffy!!!

The house was well equipped with everything you might need. The beds and all other furnishings were very comfy.

The shower was pretty tight for my tall husband.

Our large family loved staying at the granary cottage. The hosts seemed to have thought of everything to make our stay a great one. They have games and a cute doll house and toys, which my children enjoyed. The kitchen was the most well stocked of any property we have ever stayed in. The decor was charming and the property a great mix of historic and modern. We would definitely recommend this property.

Nothing bad to say atall

Wow! What a little hidden gem! We was not expecting the cottage to be as amazing as it was! everything and I mean EVERYTHING has been thought about to cater for everyone. Everything was so fresh, clean & comfy - it really was like a home from home. Cannot recommend granary cottage enough and when we are coming back to the area, we will definitely be booking into granary cottage again.

Master bedroom took time to warm up due to draught coming through the chimney
