We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe staff are amazing couldn’t be more helpful, our room was a little bit dated and not very clean compared to other times we have stayed… bedsheets and towels are clean but things like the carpet, window ledges, doors need a good deep clean. We will go back but probably hope not to get that room again 😂

United KingdomThere wasn’t anything that we didn’t like, the only little minor problem was the lift was out of order during our stay but that wasn’t the Hotels fault, we did ask Reception for help with our luggage, it was dealt with straight away.
This was our first visit to The Grand Hotel in Seaburn, it certainly will not be our last. Our stay was exceptional the Staff were really friendly and helpful I certainly would recommend anyone to stay at The Grand Hotel.

United KingdomThe lift in from reception is up to the first floor, which was needed to givevus acess to the other wing of the hotel was broken. Disabled access was required. A member of staff had not read our message which mentioned we needed an accessible room and we were bringing our dog. The chap on reception in the evening had to sort out all these issues, credit to him. Our room was great even with access issues. Our local lift was looking a little thread bare.
The location is spot on for local familly, it's ideal for travel in any direction to places you wish to visit.

United KingdomThe food menu was limited, and breakfast between 7am and 9am would be better if extended to 10 am. Also, the jacuzzi bath was absolutely useless it gushed with brown water when Jets switched on. We had to fill it 4 to 5 times before it came clear, then it emptied without the plug being taken out ! There was a fridge in our room but it was empty! I had booked this for my 7 year old granddaughter as a treat as she has had a few health issues of late and she was very disappointed with the jacuzzi bath in our room as she was really looking forward to being in there, but with the colour of the water it was to dangerous to let her in with her low immune system. The room and view were beautiful but a bit too hot and not much ventilation. I did tell the guy at reception about our concerns when checking out this morning, but up to now, he heard nothing.
The staff were excellent apart from the room service guy when ordering. I did tell the guy on reception when we checked out about him.

United KingdomWhile I appreciate the Boss concert pushes prices up, I felt it was a bit steep. Some parts of the building and car park are tired looking and in need of some maintenance. The toilet in our room struggled to flush loo roll !
Room size & breakfast first class. All the staff we encountered were great. Pool & spa facilities helped to make the stay.
