The window frames in the bedroom let in a lot of cold air and because it was a windy night we weren't able to get a lot of sleep. It was a particularly windy night though so i'm sure this would generally be less of an issue.

Lovely pub/hotel, friendly team. Tasty breakfast. Sweets in the room were a nice touch.

we were lucky to get a space in the small car park it would have been a worry not to get parked.

meals all excellent. our room was very spacious modern and comfortable the dinner menu was very good and quickly served.

One of the best rooms we've stayed in. It was large with a separate bathroom (great shower), huge comfortable bed and lots of thoughtful touches. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer. Didn't get to try the restaurant, or the breakfast, but the food looked good and it was very busy. Great location: only a short stroll over the bridge and you are in the centre of Boroughbridge. The young staff were lovely, polite and helpful.

I’d have to be really picky to find fault . Just had to wait for a table however was asked if I wanted to reserve one on booking . Which I declined so that’s my own fault . Good eating options can be few far between hence why the place is busy but not crowded .

Rooms was fantastic extra comfortable / Yorkshire themed . Great location in picture postcard small town village . Lots of little extras in there Yorkshire cushions decor ect someone made a real effort to make the room appealing for guests . Even the kettle was a top quality kettle . I would describe hotel as traditional hotel pub restaurant in one . Had meals and that too was good value in traditional surroundings . Menu was great choice and food fantastic All staff was great . Parking available on site.

We liked it all but to be picky the parking could be tricky at busy times.

We liked the food which was nicely cooked and presented. The staff were all great being very professional. The room was nice and spacious and decorated in a quirky style it was also warm and homely.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable but then I am used to a memory foam mattress. We would have liked to have tried some other food from their menu, but unfortunately was too expensive for us, but there is a great fish and chip shop in village.

The room was nice and cosy. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was the best I've had in years! Warm welcoming bar area, dog friendly.

There was nothing I didn't like, minor recommendations might be,: A pot of coffee rather than a cup at breakfast, although refills are offered all the time Easier to use hand lotions in the bedroom Tiny issues I know

Really lovely large pub rooms with lots of added touches including hot water bottles for use! Staff were fantastic, as was the breakfast. We had dinner there as well and it was excellent. Very warm and welcoming.

We stayed in the Grantham Arms whilst celebrating Xmas with family close by. Our room was delightful and the staff were great. We had a lovely couple of days and will stay again.

we loved our room, it had everything, ( and more ) that we needed. the bed was super comfy, everything was very clean and well presented At dinner, Steve and his team looked after us so well, the food was super delicious, (Steve, like Joe, is a real asset to the Grantham Arms) Breakfast was another highlight and , as usual, did not fail to impress...Joe is just perfect as the morning meet and greet person.
