The futon bed for my children was very uncomfortable, you could feel the springs in the mattresses so they did not sleep well, and therefore neither did I. Also the family room being right at the top of the building wasn't ideal for me travelling alone with two very young children and carrying lots of luggage. Would have been nice if the staff offered to assist with carrying bags.

The staff were friendly, breakfast was good, and room very clean. On the whole a pleasant stay for one night.

We only stayed three nights, extra coat hangers would be good for people staying longer. Somewhere to hang damp towels other than covering up shelf in bathroom.

Bedroom was tidy clean and well laid out. Tea, coffee and biscuits were good. Twin beds were comfortable. Bathroom was tidy and shower was good. Breakfast and service was excellent.

Very small basic room no shower gel that worked in the room no tissues in the tissue box on the dressing table , no light to do make up , no blanket in room , and the heating only comes on in the morning ,so the night time was very cold . Also they close the bar at 6pm so you can’t even come down from your room before going out and have a couple of drinks .

The shower wasn’t very powerful and water temperature changed suddenly. We were in the room next to reception and could hear every conversation.

Showers are ‘weak’ . We don’t move it from Eco setting as appreciate the intention but the actual shower system is not very robust in terms of flow. Bathrooms tend to be a bit ‘tired’ and some of the grouting could do with a bleach to match the otherwise overall white. Did spy one body hair in the shower so could not give top rating on cleanliness but overall everything else v clean. Nice crisp white bed linen. Toilet did not always flush efficiently on first flushing. Room 14.

A fairly regular customer. More breakfast options now in terms of omelettes, so appreciate that. Appreciate the TV options that includes YouTube and other non terrestrial options. Tea/ coffee and kettle in room always appreciated.Glad they now add UHT mini milks in the room on top of the fresh milk fridge option on the landing. Bed very comfortable!

Room between reception and dining room so very noisy. Cups not replaced with clean ones and tea/coffee not topped up. Staff polite but not really welcoming. No info about the restaurant or bar. It was Mother's Day so very busy, but even a "sorry we're full" would have been helpful. V difficult to get a parking space

Two issues I encountered during my stay. The milk in the fridge for guests to use was getting stale and lumpy on Saturday evening. The clothes hanging item was dusty on the bottom as I had two black items of clothing on there but when I picked them up they we’re very dusty on one side so I couldn’t wear those garments.

It’s location is ideal.

Shower quality is variable. Room 12 has a tiny shower head and produced a dribble in comparison. Parking can be a problem when large parties are in the restaurant

We have stayed in 3 different rooms. They vary in size, but are all adequately equipped. All rooms are well maintained and very clean. There is a pleasant bar, but there were many family or work parties so the place was very noisy. The young ladies who made up most of the staff were very well drilled and efficient. The speed with which they cleared up Xmas party debris was amazing. The quality of food was well above average. The turkey xmas meal was one of the best. The breakfasts were also freshly cooked and high quality. It's really good to have fresh milk provision for your room rather than UHT capsules. We will return to stay on our next visit to Bristol.
