Rooms were a bit small for deluxe and needed a few tweaks. Lampshade could be improved and looked shabby and only one.Bathroom the toilet too near the door. Sink could have had soap provided there as well as attached to the wall inside the bath. The kettle was worn and needed to be replaced. Tv straight behind loo door could do with being more central. The shower was very hot at times, so you needed to be careful.

Liked the prime location in grasmere. Thought the breakfast was good value and included in the price. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking was OK but wasn't too busy. Generally, a laid-back atmosphere and comfortable areas to eat drink and chill out. Had a deluxe room which was clean and the bed comfortable.Towels in bathroom good quality.l Lovely view for window.A character building. Lots of tea coffee, etc, which is always a bonus.

Just a small thing. In room 210 where I was staying, the sink is in the same space as the shower , which means the area gets very wet and you get wet feet if you've recently used the shower. The sink is tiny and almost impossible to fill the large kettle. Not very well thought out.

Exceptional service, comfort and location. The included breakfast was superb and the whole Inn is dog friendly. Highly recommended.

The bathroom was very small and awkward to manoeuvre. You burnt your skin trying to pass between the shower glass and the heated towel rail. You washed your teeth whilst stilling on the toilet.

Tithe location was ideal for exploring the Lakes. The staff were very helpful.

seats too close together in the eating area with the bar, the door into this area should be closed of, very cold blowing through and wet people walking in to where we was eating, should use the main front door only.

Staff seemed very rushed all the time. Didn't get asked once how our stay or our food was in 4 days. Lounge area smelled damp after a leak. Dinner in bar was chaotic and food wasn't great. Breakfast was OK but has been so much better in years past.

Location is great. Room was nice and clean. Bar staff were friendly.

The room was slightly plain and I’d hoped for more after paying for a double deluxe room

My husband and I have just gotten back from a 2 night stay and we really did not want to leave! We paid for the breakfast and dinner option and were amazed by the quality of food on offer. Every single meal was delicious and plentiful and the staff were very friendly. The pool and sauna/ relaxation room was a hidden gem! It all looked brand new and was a real gold nugget to discover. We spent a lot of time using the facilities after a morning/ afternoon of waking and it really was the icing on the cake.

Fabulous chill/pool area, used it every day. Lovely comfortable bedroom (twin). Small but fine bathroom. Good views at the front of the hotel. Parked fine and walked or bus everywhere. Food very nice at breakfast and dinner. Staff very friendly! We loved it.

There should be a cold shower near the the exellent sauna. Nowhere to cool off when you come out unfortunately.

Comfortable spacious room with good shower. Loved the locally produced luxury toiletries in the bathroom - even went and bought some to take home! Excellent breakfast with choice of cooked breakfasts. Varied evening menu in comfortable surroundings meant we ended up eating in every night. Liked the comfortable residents only lounge. Pool and sauna lovely and relaxing after a day walking in the hills. Staff very friendly.

We didn’t have any problems, we got parked okay, the room was lovely and clean etc.

The location was excellent and the inn was lovely. The food was great and the dinner bed and breakfast offer was great value for money.

Amber and Gabi were fantastic and extremely helpful. The parking was not great and had to walk with all my bags from a sister hotel. Reception could have provided a warmer experience.
