There was nothing I didn't like

Myself and my 16yr old Daughter stayed for Christmas. And it was the perfect stay everything we needed even egg cups for dippy eggs and soldiers. Very friendly family and immaculate. I highly recommend this place. Tranquility and a pleasure to wake up to the sheep donkeys and chickens in the fields. In the pod we didn't hear the animals.

Only issue was the pod smelt of strong smoke when we checked in and throughout our stay. This could be due to the smoke from the firepit getting into the pod. We had to buy an air freshener after the first night as it was really bad to try and get rid of the smell which worked quite well but the smell did come back so you have to keep spraying it every few hours to get rid of the smell.

Lovely and peaceful place to stay. Pod was amazing and the outdoor furniture and fire pit were great! They provide you with all the essentials you need such as wood and fire starters for the fire pit and all the cooking utensils. Hot tub was fantastic, amazing views from the pods. Amazing value for money and we will definitely be returning with our dog next time!

We knew the pub was 1 mile away. We didn't know it was at the bottom of the valley. It's a hard walk both there and back, it's very steep, and not particularly safe. We did the walk once, that was enough. Didn't spoil our stay, but just to make others aware if you think you'll stroll to the pub, you won't!! It's a lovely pub though, so still visit. Check out times need a bit of clarity. Booking.com says 10.30am. Info in the pod say 9.30am and 10am at latest. It's a bit early, especially considering all you have to do, like strip the beds, clean up, do your recycling, and if you want to have breakfast and pack. I understand it's a family run business and turnaround is hectic, but it was just a bit too early and frantic to end a good weekend.

The location, and view are out of this world. The pods are well stocked with equipment and kitchen utensils. There is a firepit/bbq, lovely patio area with parasol, sofa, chairs and cushions, and of course the hot tub, which is total luxury. The small pods are small, but totally comfortable for 2 people. We had great weather and were outside most of the time. 4 pods in total but good privacy, our neighbours were all lovely though, which made it even nicer. Lynn and her family are great hosts, nothing too much trouble, place was clean and tidy, and a good set up with some free fire wood to get your fire going. The onside chickens provide eggs in the little shed for guests. Lovely to have sheep, cattle, donkies and goats also on sites, hilarious watching them all in the field. Good parking area and little trolley to get your luggage to your pod. A little inaccessible for anyone with additional needs, but doable and they will help if you need it. Great place, we absolutely loved it, and will be back.

Little bit out of the way from pub or restaurant

Guests need to be aware that car access to the pods is not available. Cars are parked in a nearby parking area and luggage and items need to be carried to the pod. A trolley is available for use.The track surface is of chippings & aggregate which is maintained, but is not suitable for wheeling suitcases on standard wheels. There is a not insignificant short slope from the parking area to the pods. This and the nature of the track surface would not be suitable for wheel chair access or persons with mobility issues. However, I would recommend discussing with the owners if this is an issue. They were most accomodating, helpfull and resourcesfull and may be able to consider options to help overcome individual issues.

Loction was absolutely stunning. As was the facilities and excellent onsite support. We will be returning.

I can't find anything negative to state about this place. It truly is an amazing, peaceful little glamping site.

Beautiful location with stunning views from the pod and hot tub. The site is exceptionally tidy and clean.Our pod was very comfy,clean, and well presented with a luxury touch of toiletries and towels placed neatly on the bed.The kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials required for cooking a full breakfast/main meal.The hosts-Lynne, and family are very friendly and made sure we had a lovely break. I would most definitely book again.

The only two things we noticed were lots of flies in the pod, and it got quite hot inside. Both of which are not significant hence the 10/10 review, and no fault of the hosts! Flies to be expected as on a farm but maybe a can of fly spray and a fan would be handy?

Absolutely stunning location, the views are amazing. Really lovely family who own it. The pods were very clean and there was a lot of attention to detail. The free starter pack of wood for the fire/barbecue and tea/coffee/toiletries were nice touches. Hot tub was up to 38 degrees when we arrived. Really good value - would recommend/stay again :)

used to a king size bed so slightly small personally, we took fans but can imagine it gets very warm in the height of summer. but cannot pick faults with it!

Came here to enjoy a relaxing bank holiday for an early birthday surprise and that’s exactly what we got. Friendly and approachable hosts for any thing, asked for decorations as part of the booking and they delivered, nothing seems too much. The views from the pods in the morning, sat in bed drinking tea are just unmatched. Clean and compact is the best way to describe it but everything you could possible need is tucked away nicely.
