The property was fine, it could definitely benefit from a little updating decor and fittings wise in the bedrooms - plugs next to the beds, better in room lighting (just lamps, no main lights) - and a refresh of the paintwork on the exterior, but it was all perfectly functional.

The Greek salad was hard going. Too much balsamic vinegar. Not enough olive oil. Too much greenery. Olives and feta weren't up to much.

Breakfast good. Gluten free toast available . The bar for us with a dog was a long way from the buffet. Lovely big room number 9 with dog. Bed very comfortable. Quiet. No traffic noise. Bathroom a bit tired. Everyone friendly and helpful. Good opportunities for dog walking.

Thought breakfast time was poorly organised, staff couldnt take an order properly, much better when it was buffet style, waiting for tea and coffees a cup at a time, scrambled egg came but not on toast so would have to make youre own while it got cold, just small things which added together wasnt a good experiance.

Had a downstairs room which had been refurbished eith a walk in shower, nice large room.

The rooms are really tired and desperate for some basic touch ups.

Cheap and cheerful for a pit stop on a long journey. We have stayed a few times now and the rooms are all a really great size. We didn’t bother with breakfast as we were setting off at 7am so can’t comment this time.

Being woken up at 1.30 am by fire alarm going off for at least 5 mins then being told by a guest as we made our way out of the room that it was a false alarm! No sign of any member of hotel staff giving any information and no mention of it at any point after that! Poor customer service!

Was attending a concert in the Hotel, so an ideal location, especially on a very wet night.

Only one restaurant open. On arrival, tried to book a table for around 5:30 pm but first available sitting was 7:30pm. No usable 3pin socket by bed and not great lighting for applying makeup.

I was attending a music gig in the hotel. Lovely big bedroom facing courtyard.

Pillows could have been better. Room was fine but maybe could do with a bit modernisation but overall acceptable. Food was great and good values and the Gin selection great.

Bin in the room hadn't been emptied. Parts of the hotel seem to have been refurbished but some bits are a wee bit dated. A work in progress.

Excellent breakfast. Great location, there for a gig at Backstage at the Green, good venue.

The food was ok although a little over priced. Communal areas badly need upgrading. There were a lot of worn out, torn and taped up carpets.

Room 18 was clean, comfortable and spacious. All the bar and restaurant staff were really nice.

Hotel room very dated and old. Hairs in bed and shower. Not a boutique hotel at all needs updating. Need more plug sockets in room still uses old plug three pin which doesn’t work with modern day three pin plugs.
