The lift is out of service and seemingly has been for quite some time. This could be an issue for some. Staff are willing to help carry your luggage up and down. Special events are held in the building and can be noisy, only an issue if you like to turn in early.

Reception and cleaning Staff are very helpful and responsive. The room was very clean, comfortable. The ensuite was excellent. I used the shared washroom for part of my stay before moving to an ensuite and that was a good experience. Close by the Wood Green Tube station, central London is just 15-20 minutes away.

It was a little noisy in the corridor so I did not sleep as well as I would have liked to.

It was very clean-the main thing we wanted in a room. It was located in a nice area and the bus stop to where we needed to go to attend a show was right outside the door. The tube station is right across the road also which was very handy.

The shared bathroom (even though I knew about it beforehand). Only one shower working on my floor and I went after someone who left it kind of messy (dirty). Not great. Also the noise from outside - the windows isolation is not good. And finally the noise from people talking and getting ready around 5am every morning…

Walls seemed pretty thin. We could hear people and doors closing in the corridor. But overall there wasn't much commotion.

Few steps away from Wood Green Station along Picadilly line. Friendly staff. Kantin Kitchen is a super café/restaurant two doors down. No street noise in the room.

The noise can be heard from the road, depending on where your room is located, I stayed twice, in different part of the hotel. One time it was ok, another time the noise were loud from the streets, even though there were double windows.

The bathroom in the basement almost every shower was not working x the smell is kind of on the verge but I guess it’s cause of rude visitors and not about the hotel . Cause other floors were pretty clean and the facilities were running x maybe the dorm section should be rules a bit better cause in 12 bedroom respect and hygiene is missing a little bit although cameras are installed

I asked more than a week earlier for a bottom bunk bed but clearly they did not bother satisfying my request,since I saw that every day new beds in low bunks were getting free.

Bunk beds have a sort of privacy.They make an effort of giving coffee/tea fac.Friendly staff/environment/guests. I may go back.

Doors close at 11pm and you need to call a phone number to be let in. A problem if you lose the number or run out of battery on your phone on a night out.

Ants everywhere. It was a hot day though so I don’t particularly blame the staff for this. No breakfast on offer but a perfectly decent cafe two doors away with lots of options.

The location is the best thing about this property. The bus stop and tube is directly outside. There are plenty of places to eat late at night. It’s a few bus stops away from Alexandra palace. The beds were comfortable.
