Nice rooms in a quiet neighborhood. Convenient, off-street parking was included. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot. Easy late check-in and simple key drop check-out.

No Bar or catering facilities on site. Breakfast was on a voucher system with a cafe down the street not what I would have expected for the price of the room.

A great location for the University area and the city tour bus stops just down the street so a good base for exploring. Room was very clean and extremely comfortable bed.

It was just perfect. There was nothing not to like. The setting, the check in process, the immediate surroundings, the area, the ease of access, the proximity to the centre, everything was 10/10.

I have stayed in a few dozen places through Booking and through other platforms, and I have never given a property a straight 10 out of 10, a few days after the stay. This hotel is ideally located in south Belfast, within 2-3 minutes drive off the M1 motorway, so very easy access up Lisburn Road. However, it is not ON said Lisburn Road, but a few houses set back so no traffic noise registered when we were there. It is still walkable to the city centre, which we did twice. The surroundings of the hotel are very much red-brick Victorian/Edwardian so visually very pleasing. Inside, the look is very much a period piece but with all the mod cons - we were pleasantly surprised by the wiring in the rooms, there being a power outlet at either side of the bed (not something you usually find in these older type places). Our check-in process was marked by a friendly conversation with Taylor, the young lady at the reception. She explained how the door worked after hours: all very state-of-the-art. In short, I would recommend the hotel to most anyone - the property is a grande dame of a certain age, but not a hair out of place.

I booked a standard double bedroom for me and my 12 years old son, and when we arrived and opened our room, it was a huge surprise that we get a Hannas suite, which is huge and beautiful with 1 single bed and 1 double bed. The bed was comfy, clean and soft. The bathroom was also clean with good water pressure. I was lucky that I got a parking space behind the building, which is anoter positive. We only stay 1 night, but if we go back to Belfast, we will definitely stay here again.

The Gregory used to have wonderful breakfasts & we miss that. Clearly the dining rooms & kitchens are still there. Bring back breakfast please
