Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Ideal location for us, the apartment was very comfortable, quiet, clean and warm, it had everything you could want away from home. Communication with the owners was good, although, we never met them.

United KingdomJust as mentioned above inside of oven not cleaned after previous guests. Also number of stairs with apartment being on first floor and a small flight up to main door. This made it little awkward bring our luggage etc in and out of property especially as my husband has some health issues effecting his breathing so struggled on stairs.
Lovely bright & clean one bedroom apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay including TV package. Everywhere was immaculately clean except for inside oven which had been overlooked and had quite a bit of grease and burnt on marks on glass door and racks. When I mentioned it to the owners they apologised for this not having been cleaned and it did not have any great impact on our stay as we didn't cook in oven. Great location, close to bus stop towards Southport or Liverpool

United KingdomWe felt the lack of a table to eat from. The child upstairs could often be heard running. It was hot so the windows were open and being next to the main road out of Southport there was a lot of traffic noise.
The flat was spacious and convenient for us. A small problem with only one set of towels was speedily put right. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was comfortable.

Excellent location for Birkdale and Southport, and easy walking distance to Birkdale village. An exception clean, pleasant, airy and comfortable flat. The large bed and bedroom that was delightfully decorated.

United KingdomThe only thing I really wish the flat had was a freezer or even a freezer compartment in the fridge - in the current very hot weather we have had it would have been much appreciated. Otherwise there was nothing I would change.
A very comfortable, clean and well appointed flat. Despite being on a fairly busy road the flat was generally very quiet and although there was the inevitable noise from the flat above this was not at all a problem. Communication with the hosts was timely and clear and I encountered no problems during my stay. I would definitely be very happy to return in future.

United KingdomThe lack of a dining table and chairs. The provision of 2 sofas seating 5 seemed unnecessary in a 2 person flat.
The flat in a converted large detached house was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped with plenty of storage for clothes. It is sited on a bus route into Southport, which around 20 minutes walk away, with a good range of independent shops and restaurants in Birkdale Village, where Birkdale station (Southport- Liverpool line) is also located, 10 minutes walk away. There is an allocated off street parking space with on site turning space.

Exactly as it said on the Tin!!! Great apartment in superb location for local shops and the train station which we used to go into Liverpool. Station parking is free and £5.95 return for all day travel. The apartment is very well kitted out and very clean and the bedroom is large, light and airy. Some reviews suggest a small table would be handy but there is no issue using the coffee table and sofas. When in the area again, we will definitley be rebooking as more than happy with our booking.

United KingdomThe apartment was really Big with high ceilings, nice & Comfortable. Extremely clean/Quiet & convienient - being a very close drive (4mins) to Royal Birkdale Golf Club. Parking was easy and offroad/secure. Birkdale Village is quaint with a great Restaurant ''Bistro Verite'' . Everything was straight forward with good instructions and only called the Owner ''Nigel) once to ask about heating and he was very helpful. Frankly you couldn't ask for more for the price. Will book again.
