Unfortunately my bath towel and the bath mat were a little ragged and the towels generally were somewhat worn. The shower was excellent but as it was within the spa bath (which we did not use) it meant stepping into the bath. Getting in was fine but getting out for an octogenarian was a bit precarious despite the useful hand rail in the bath.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and the hotel generally were immaculately clean. The breakfast was exceptional with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. We had dinner in the hotel on three of the four days we stayed which was excellent. The menu changed while we were there and we were told if there was anything from the old menu we would prefer it would be available. Another excellent approach to customer care. Our room was a good size and had a very good en-suite shower room also of a good size.

Bed mattress too soft (but being fussy as that's a personal choice). Room and bathroom were ideal and very clean but bedroom although very nicely decorated it was a bit cluttered with large furniture - needs contemporary smaller pieces of furniture and smaller TV (fixed to wall?). Again, being fussy, did not spoil our stay.

Breakfast was excellent. Friendliness and efficiency of staff, special mention for Tilly. Good secure parking.

There wasn’t anything i disliked but the room only price was very high especially as a single visitor

I was only staying 2 nights room only due to participating in an Ultra Challenge but the welcome was friendly on arrival, the room was clean and very comfortable and an amazing whirlpool bath! Very friendly and accommodating staff and great to have 24hr access through secure front door.

For our stay this time, the only thing we would have liked better was the weather.

As we have stayed at Haddon House before we knew it was an excellent hotel. Very comfortable rooms, lovely food and a nice ambiance.

Our second visit to the Hotel and their high standards and attention to detail haven't slipped. 10/10.

Traditional British breakfast well cooked with many options and choice available. Excellent restaurant for an evening meal should you require it with a wide choice of food available including fresh local sea fish. We used the restaurant twice and had faultless meals fairly priced. Great variety on the specials board as well.

The weather!

The restaurant was excellent: congratulations to the Chef. Our birthday party celberation with our friends was a memorable meal; not pretentious but very good menu choices, and affordable too! And the service was so good, despite our quirky requirments. Haddon House Hotel felt like how hospitality used to be once upon a time: very caring, warm, professional service.

Old fashioned hotel, but lovely. Ideal position in Bridport. Great views. Large room, comfy beds, great linen. Jacuzzi bath with shower over, tv to watch in bath. Big tv in room too. Fabulous breakfast and evening meal. Staff all friendly warm and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay - thank you.

We didn’t like the fact that we didn’t stay long enough. We could not fault anyone or anything.

Location perfect, easy to find,. Very good value breakfast off freshly cooked food. Whirlpool bath was a surprise bonus, TV over that bath really beyond our expectations. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.
