The interior is starting to look old and tired and would benefit from new carpets etc. Some restaurant staff were rude and had the opinion you owed them rather than it's my job to make people feel welcome

Access to the Spa was overpriced and not worth it. It felt less 'Spa' and more like a leasure centre with extra areas. The pool was also cold with what seemed like no heating.

Room was large and spacous with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a good quality full english buffett. The grounds, though not in bloom, where still lovely to walk around.

Swimming times for children are restricted to mid morning and after 4pm which can eat into day trips out.

Booked this hotel because I like the spa but unfortunately the spa was closed due to water levels not correct, was I a bit disappointed couldn’t use the pool.

I liked the location of the hotel, Stratford town in walking distance. A very pleasant walk by the river.

Not much. If I have to be picky is say the decor and carpet in the extension we were in needs some attention.

Our family suite was excellent with a massive bathroom too. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The spa facilities were also fantastic. We had a great time

The spa was a bit disappointing.. given tiny hand towels that were thin and tough as no big towels. Could have been offered a free robe as an alternative. No water was put out and kids were still in the pool after 6pm which was a bit annoying. It was a bit tatty around the pool with tiles coming off in the outside jacuzzi area. Our room was a bit grubby with thick cobwebs in the corners especially bad under the curtains and I hate spiders!! The carpet was stained and the mattress was stained… but the bed was comfy and the room was quiet and we slept well.

The grounds were stunning and we had a beautiful view from our room the Caroline suite. We saw deer in site and it was very well maintained. The evening meal was stunning and the restaurant manager and his team were fantastic, they were run off their feet and had to deal with a few bad mannered customers but they stayed professional. The breakfast was also lovely very calm and cosy setting and a nice walk into town with lots to do.
