The cottage was in a wonderfully quiet, pretty location and very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the WiFi was good, and the heating was very efficient. It must be lovely to sit outside, but it wasn't quite warm enough. The host was very helpful and friendly.

David was very accomodating due to a hiccup we had with our car rental. Friendly and helpful. Willing to go above and beyond. Cottage is spotless and everything you will need is on hand and clearly explained as well as a welcome basket, fruit and milk. We enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend Hallmount cottage. Thanks David

Excellent location, 10 minutes from everything. David the host was lovely to deal with and checked in with us during the stay. A basket of goodies such as crisps, bread, teas, coffee etc was waiting for is which was so lovely. Dvd player very useful in the evenings.

The canape was too low for us.

The owner had prepared bread and serials for us to have breakfast after a late arrival. There were apples too and he guided us to the nearby supermarket. All was perfectly explained and we have no complaints at all. Thanks to our host!

Some windows didn’t shut properly and most didn’t lock despite window keys provided but they didn’t fit work. Also shower screen and washing machine very mouldy so did not use washing machine but tried to clean shower screen which really needs replacing.

Great location, comfy, plenty of space, parking, lovely to meet very welcoming host and receive milk and a basket of goodies including cereals and bread

There are no shops nearby , it s not a bog problem just that you need to remember to shop for food when you are out.

Hallmount is a cute little cottage with all the necessary facilities. The rooms are cosy and the kitchen has all you need for a short stay. Its in a quiet neighbourhood not far from the city centre; takes only 15 min by taxi to get there. A great place to stay if you plan on visiting Belfast. My son said it reminded him off the cottage where seven little elves might have stayed!!

Everything you needed was right there. Close to Belfast, we had the car so can't say about public transport. Communication with the host was above and beyond, was like a home away from home. Have already recommended to others to stay here, will 100% be back

The cottage is very cosy, clean and well presented. It is kitted out with everything needed for an easy and comfortable self-catering stay. It is also in a delightful and quiet country location. We did not have a car but this presented no major problem - as there is a bus route (no. 6) to/from Belfast City Centre. The bus stop is a shortish walk away with buses being regular throughout the day. The owner, David, cares about his guests and went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The grocery provisions made available to us on arrival was also a lovely touch. We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

    - weak shower - no street lights down the road (I know this isn't the hosts fault, it's just to note) - not so much a bad thing, but wouldn't be an ideal place for those wanting to spend most of time in central belfast

    - lovely host, even left us a little welcome hamper - a great base for those who want to explore northern Ireland and Belfast - very clean - lots of countryside walks nearby - comfortable bed and living room - lots of heaters so very cosy - great kitchen amenities - good wifi - plenty of towels

The bed is a bit too soft for our liking. The shower can be stronger.

The cosiness of the cottage. Peace & quiet of surrounding area. Close to Tesco Extra for easy groceries shopping. Close to a great walking park.

This cottage is a little pink Irish gem to such extent that next time going in Belfast we will make it our temporary home again :). For some reasons I was personally very drawn to it. Comfortable, well equipped, clean and welcoming. David, the host, had been there to receive us at 10pm, very kind and approachable, flawless communication. Breakfast items were ready for us like cereals, fruits, milk, bread, butter. We used taxis to get into town except the morning we checked out, when we had an amazing walk until we reached Lagan river, then along the river with a very friendly couple who accompanied us. All in all, a memorable experience and one of the top accommodations I had purchased on Bookings.

Beautiful location for walks around Giant's Ring, Shaw's Bridge, Lagan Tow Path, Terrace Hill Gardens, Belvoir Forest and Malone House, all walking distance. Excellent lunch nearby at Bob Stewart's, delicious wood fired pizzas in the beer garden. So convenient for city centre, just a 15 min drive away. Parking right outside the house was great and David gave us excellent advice for safe entry into and exiting the little lane where the cottage is. The whole house was immaculate and far more spacious than the photos suggest with a well catered kitchen with cooking utensils and crockery and a lovely welcome basket. David was also very accommodating with arrival and departure times. Will definitely book again.

The lies that was told. No bus route to be seen only cows on the field. Bad bend to enter. Not suitable to walk out of the property as footpaths too narrow.

When we where out of the area. Very rural next to masonic Lodge....
