Stayed at Hampton by Hilton for 2 nights, superb location, excellent rooms and facilities, decorated very nicely and modern, shower was amazing, slept great both nights.Great breakfast on both occasions, helpful friendly staff. Would recommend this hote.l

It would have been helpful to have a guide in the room as to how to work the air conditioning, it was not intuitive. The hotel should make it known that they offer bar food as this wasn’t mentioned anywhere, so we had to ask.

All staff were very helpful & professional. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice, making waffles was an added bonus. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace as the weather was warm. The hotel is a short taxi ride from the station and the town centre was only a short walk away. The bar food in the evening was very good.

Breakfast area was very busy - there were plenty of empty tables but they had not been cleared of used plates & cups etc., so it was tricky to find a clean table to sit at. Could see the river from my hotel room, but room did also overlook lots of building rubble.

Convenient location - close to city centre. Room was clean and comfortable. Good shower. Nice breakfast buffet. There were a number of International street food stalls/bars in cargo containers opposite the hotel, so convenient for variety of quick eats. Was quite lively in the evening there, but couldn't hear any noise from there in my hotel room.

Pillows smells damp even the room and corridor. Looks like the rug haven’t been cleaned for the long time.

It’s worth the price. The location is very good. Check in is even earlier than expected. And the hotel have a locker where you can put your things for safe keeping even after your check out which makes us happier as we can still roam around the city before we leave.

On the seconed day ( morning) due to a facilities problem we were NOT provided with any breakfast. ( just a few selected items) This ruined a part of the things we look forward to. I consider that some kind of compensation is due and should be offered. As this event/problem was NOT CORRECTLY DELT WITH & we should have been offered a compensation. In legal terms a important part of the package was not fulfilled. Under the 'TRADING STANDARDS ACT' the package did not meet it legal requiments of the WHOLE BOOKING. It can be deemed as 'NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE' which is to provide the advertised agreement when the booking contract was made

We dropped something on the floor near bed and when we looked under there was a tangerine under there and other rubbish. Just a Shame when everything else was clean

Close to the city centre. Modern hotel with light, airy and spacious rooms. Very welcoming staff and friendly throughout our stay. The reception lounge area is fantastic to spend time with family at the end of an evening, whilst having a drink. The breakfast area is spacious, with tables big enough to seat a large family and has outside seating with a view. There was a good selection of good quality food at breakfast. Would definitely rebook.
