The room was a little tired and may probably determine if we stay again and at that price.

Location is good and the restaurant was lovely as were the staff

Room could have done with a couple of pictures to make it feel a little more homely and nit just a room.

Very good breakfast selection and bar meals in evening were very good. Staff were very friendly and made a fuss of the grandson when he was around.

A few issues with service. Check in gave us no info about directions to the room or about facilities. Bar staff unaware of menu detail. Eg what soup is it? I said I'd guess but still don't know what it was after having it lol! Ordered a child's cheeseburger but arrived as plain and sent back. Ordered a medium Chardonnay and a coffee.."Where are the wine glasses? You'll have to have one of these. ." ..We also realised later that the child's ice cream never arrived. I don't think the level of service reflects the prices.

Great family room. Great pool facilities. Lovely location.

The swimming pool was unfortunately closed for the first 2 days of our visit which was annoying The cooked breakfast needs more veg options like veg sausages - one morning they ran out of hash browns

Location is great - not too far from hesketh farm & bolton abbey which are great days out for kids

Room was could hear the road a bit despite being on the top floor. EV charging didn't work first time and parking for them is a bit odd.

Canal side location great for stretching the legs and a nice walk into Skipton centre. Convenient location for work. Staff friendly, breakfast good, nice view from the restaurant too. EV charging worked and was a great help for my journey.

The velux window in our room wasn’t closing properly so the room was noisy from the road. When I asked to be moved to a quieter room over looking the canal I was told there would be an extra charge of £15. Having booked 3 rooms for my family I thought this was a ridiculous unnecessary charge. I refused to pay this extra fee, and it took some persuading of one of the reception staff to not charge me who was initially reluctant to do this. I would have thought that because our initial room wasn’t suitable the receptionist would have been more sympathetic to my problem but this wasn’t the case. I also think that a charge of £4.50 for a pot of tea for one is ridiculous. As a result we went out and had tea and coffees in a local Cafe.

The location of the Hotel was good for the purpose of our visit, and the breakfast was good. The breakfast staff, and the duty Manager were very helpful.

Vinyl sheet floor coverings in rooms are hard and give a basic feel to the accommodation. Fittings in the bathroom feel dated and worn with basin taps and toilet flush not really working properly although just about acceptable. Food menu for dinner is a bit limited and portion sizes perhaps a little on the small side.

Location, staff and basic facilities good. Easy parking and access to Skipton.
