No staff, room very small, couldnt even stand in the shower and the lock to the door was nailed in with one screw and the walls very thin

The bathroom was dirty floor, shower and toilet looked like they needed a big bleach and clean. Could also hear people in the corridor and outside the building as if they were in the room with you. Bed was really comfortable though and staff where lovely and friendly definitely made me and my partner feel welcome. Shower also didn’t work. I cant judge this hotel 100% as it feels like it might be brand new, would definitely revisit in a year as I feel like maybe improvements would be made by then

Had the wrong name on the front. Carpet was smelly, curtain was thin and no blind in the bathroom. Toilet overflowed onto the roof below.

Very dirty, all beds were filthy, stained mattresses , one of them with blood all over, dirty bed sheets , dirty toilet stained with Urine and everything else, no tv remote to work the TV. Awful noise of water and boilers so loud until around 3 am , we couldn’t sleep, nobody to call if needed anything , no rubbish bin inside hotel rooms. Really rude loud neighbours , drunk arguing and banging all night long keeping everyone awake which isn’t the hotels fault, but nobody to call or report anything to! Dirty floors, hairs everywhere, we brought detol wipes to clean everything.

When we arrived there was no key in the key safe so had to wait to be let in only to find our room was filthy, dirty sox covering both fire alarms, hairs in the bed pubs in the shower and bathroom floor and urine stains all up the back of the toilet, room had not been cleaned so requested it to be cleaned only for them to say come back in 15 miniutes and we will get it sorted and come back and the hairs still on bathroom from and urine splat up the toilet still and then trying to sleep with the noise of the pipes / boiler room all night long and no one works on reception when it states 24 hour reception would defiantly not stop there again

Everything said above, plus the fact that I was contacted prior to my arrival to check what time I would be there to"check in", and at no point did they explain that you don't check in, rather you get emailed a room number and code to access..... Yet I didn't receive this email until 3 hours After I arrived at the hotel, 2 hours after I actually got into my room which was an hour after my arrival.

Nothing. No staff on duty, no communication, 1 hour it took to get access to my room after I arrived, no one answers phone, the lock was broken in the room, hence sleeping in an insecure room that anyone could have accessed. hotel stinks of cannabis. Very poor

Was in room 20. Hot water doesnt particularly get up there very much but cold tap was OK. Tea/Coffee facilities so use kettle. The shower. Now, switch on and nothing much happens but, take the handset and hold it down low and everything starts working, then replace and shower as normal. Long way up the stairs so, if you are not very adept at stairs, ask for a lower room.

OK so. We must remember that this is a budget hotel in a prime seafront location. I was travelling alone this time so had a single room up in the converted attic space. From there I had a view of the seafront and pier which was nice. I mostly end up looking at sewerage pipes! Quite a number of rooms in this place ,which seems to have been decorated recently. Self check-in so make sure you have all the details before departure. Parking at rear for several cars first come etc, just make sure you get the right rear ! Very quiet, very few other guests. Owners phone 2 make sure you are happy etc. Enjoyed it.
