The property had everything we could possibly need (including things that we hadn‘t considered that we would need!) to make our stay on Skye exceptional. The pod was clean and functional without being cramped, and the landscaped surrounds complemented the beauty of Skye perfectly.

The property was great, it was very clean, nice clean bedding that felt quality, the pod had everything we needed and more, very well thought out, the bed was comfortable which was a bonus having spent the previous 2 nights in an uncomfortably bed , the location was stunning, we were lucky to have 3 lovely sunny days and spent the time in the pod looking at the views, the entrance and car parking space very spacious and well kept., it was nice to sit out and have breakfast / dinner. The shower was also very good, we will definitely return. The photos do not do the place justice.

Absolutely nothing. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

We had an amazing trip and stay in the Aurora pod. Would highly recommend to anyone. The pod was clean and well stocked. It was the perfect location - nice and quiet and peaceful but also close to main attractions. We loved our morning wake ups with the sheep and lambs out of our bathroom window!

The pod was so clean and charming. Everything you need is accounted for. The bed was very comfortable and the hosts were just a text away if you needed anything. I stayed in Scotland for 2 weeks and this was my favorite accommodation.

There was absolutely nothing I liked. It was all perfect.

This was absolutely perfect in a beautiful and peaceful location out in the middle of nowhere but yet about 10 mins from a fuel station, small grocery store and places to eat and Dunvegan Castle. There are only 2 pods so you know it's going to be quiet and they are right by the sea. The pod was absolutely spotless with everything I needed for my weeks stay. A comfy sofa and bed. A great bathroom with a good shower. A small kitchen, tv, table and chairs. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Everything about this place is fantastic. The pod is new and spotless. Facilities are all straightforward and easy to use. Comfortable, cozy bed. The area around the pod is spacious and parking is easy. The view from the door is an amazing view of the bay/fjord. Could have easily stayed for a week and would have loved it just as much.

Harlosh Hideaways - Aurora Pod. Our 3 night stay the last week of August 2023 was nothing short of spectacular!! The hosts were the best. Shirley & Kevin live on a 300+ year old house on the property. They take great pride in all. From their house to these two ‘pod style’ tiny homes. Everything is immaculate. Shirley has thought of everything. And we know a ‘GREAT’ stay as we are in our 6th year of full time world travelers (yes we are retired). Total Nomads so an amazing stay such as this is very welcomed!! The kitchen is fully stocked to be able to cook entire meals. Just stop at the market on your way and everything is ready to go in a functioning kitchen. Nice kettle and coffee maker with teas and coffee supplied too. And what an amazing goodie basket to greet us! All local tummies to get us hooked on Scottish treats. The bathroom was large with lots of hot water. Soft towels and amazing soaps and lotion. Like spa quality!! And oh the bed! Nice linens and so comfortable. Extra throw blankets too. The unit is heated with floor radiate heat. So cosy. There’s games, books, tv. WiFi is strong. Outdoor seating. Beautiful garden /yard. And the view!! Right out to the loch! Hiking the ‘Old Man of Storr’ is a must. As is seeing all the sights near by and Portree for a ‘town & shopping’ visit. Parking is in the yard. Safe and secure. Easy drive. We rented a car in Edinburgh and very much enjoyed the travels to Harlosh Hideaways. I know you will too!!!

Everything was perfect.

We loved staying here. The location is fantastic - perfectly peaceful with beautiful views. The pod itself was lovely. It had everything you could possible need, was incredibly spacious and had been carefully and thoughtfully fitted out for a totally relaxed and comfortable stay. We really appreciated all the many extras that were included which made it even more special. Would love to return one day and highly recommend.

The Aurora Pod included all necessary items. Very convenient place to stay. Excellent privacy and view on the loch. We came by Electric car. We were almost out of elektricity and the owners were so kind to allow us to charge our car. Really appreciated.

Loved the location amidst nature, the cabin was cozy and well equipped more than we thought. The hosts were very friendly. The bathroom view was beautiful. We cannot wait to stay again soon.

Nothing!!! They've thought of everything. The only "suggestion" I made was shelves...in the bathroom, shower and by the bed but it's a minor niggle.

We loved the socially distanced welcome and the staggering location... I could hardly speak to the host I was so thrilled. (I've had experiences of photos on the internet not being anywhere near a property but this is DEFINITELY NOT the case here.). We loved everything about the pod. It was so incredibly neat, well fitted out and immaculately clean. I loved the clear instructions for everything (except the microwave which was a bit of a challenge.) Our absolute favourites were the electric bin, which had a character and a mind of its own, and the floor show provided by the bunnies outside... they're all gone in our part of the world so it was a huge thrill for us to see them alive and well and tearing about the place...you can even watch them from the loo!
