We had no issues with the property. The only thing that we were a bit disappointed with was in the observatory bar we waited almost an hour on our cocktails and had to ask again for them twice before a waitress asked again what our order was. The bar was not busy at all with only a few tables taken by couples. We expected excellent and efficient service to come alone with the price tag and reputation of the hotel.

The rooftop didn’t open until 3 pm

So convenient to city centre and connections. The roof top bar has very impressive views of Belfast city scape. Beautiful at sunset.

The lifts were a little temperamental at times to get to the Observatory bar. But that’s being really picky! The air vent in our room at night did make strange noises which woke me and my husband up on our first night & the shower in the bathroom was small & hard to work.

The staff were friendly & so helpful from the moment we arrived. The location was amazing! Walking distance from most of the sights. Ubers and taxis easily available & only a 35 min drive from Belfast International Airport. The views from the observatory bar were amazing & breakfast was calm, quiet & well serviced every day.

The service on the first floor bar was quite poor and slow, you are not allowed to go to the bar and order directly so you have to wait for someone to take your order. I don't mind waiter service if the service itself is quick, in this case it was very slow. The bar itself was quite empty but it took between 10 to 15 minutes for someone to ask us what our order was, it then took the same amount of time to then receive that order. We were a group of about 10 people so as more people turned up in our group the more time we had to wait between drinks. We were the first ones to arrive and in the 1.5 hours we were there we managed to order twice, the rest managed to order one drink order and the last of the stragglers didn't bother as it took too long, so we left. The staff were polite and very friendly but the service was just too slow. It was my only criticism to what is a fantastic hotel.

The breakfast was delicious, one of the best hot buffet breakfasts I have had, the quality of the products were excellent. A pot of tea is excellent value for money and in fairness would be more than enough for 2 people, the cakes were delicious and the staff could not have been any more helpfull or friendlier. The hotel is very central and close to the city and all amenities.

Lack of parking but set up regarding the parking in nearby lot but good

Accommodation and bar was very expensive. We stayed on a Thursday night and the hotel and bar was almost empty. Maybe if you considered offering more affordable mid week stays you would creat more business

We came down to reception to check out only to be told we had an extra charge to the room and given a bill for drinks we clearly didn’t buy, so someone used our room number to buy drinks everything was perfect up to the point but won’t stop us staying again

The chaos at the lifts, one staff member trying to manage at least 40 people into a queue for the lift when we arrived, couldn’t seem to do this so we got caught with our luggage in large number of people pushing forward for a lift! felt chaotic on arrival

I didn’t realise there was no on site parking, it wasn’t made very clear when booking or perhaps I overlooked it. There was parking available in a nearby multi storey car park which the hotel then could provide a discount for too .

Everything. It was central, clean and staff were amazing.

The Hotel was stunning, clean and rooms were perfect. The location was great for everything, across from the City Hall and near the hop bus for the airport. We booked 3 double rooms and they were all really beautiful. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We have recommended to family and friends and we will definitely be back.
