Only criticism, the restricted access for vehicles could have been made a little clearer, parking provided was fine but access could be tricky for larger vehicles.

Perfect sanctuary away from the rat race, the room was exceptional and well furnished. Had a spa-like vibe.

It was nicely presented. The room was well thought out with lots of extras to make it really homely & welcoming. The bathroom was very spacious with a shower & large bath with a nice view. Also the breakie was yummy too & well presented.

This was not a problem for us but be aware that the house (as the name says!) is at the top of the hill, so there will have some stairs or hills to climb if you are on foot.

Breakfast in the room is a treat, very spacious, clean and beautiful room with nice views.

Nothing to dislike

The property was stunning and the attention to detail was magnificent. The lavender in the draws for a calming smell to the beautiful breakfast platter. Was SO relaxing ♥️

The rooms were beautiful, perfectly clean, prepared with care and attention to detail. The bath was fabulous. The views are wonderful. And Hastings Old Town is close by - with music, food and great, great pubs.

Amazing location and Madeleine is lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, breakfast was delicious and you felt thoroughly spoilt as it is served in the room, easily walkable to the town centre if you don’t mind he hills on the way back, but you could always get an Uber , all in all a fantastic place.

Great ensuite room with super comfy bed and outstanding facilities. Delicious breakfast (provided) and very nice owner with great comms. Super clean and outstandingly well maintained. Appreciated the free parking directly opposite the house.

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Great location within Hastings. Very clear communication on arrival. Lovely breakfast. We would definitely stay here again if it's available next time we are in the area. Excellent mattress, we slept very well.

I found the deep stairs hard with my case.

We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast delivered to our room. Really quiet comfortable room with a lovely bathroom. We had a parking spot for our stay. The Villa is only about a 15 minute walk from Hastings Old Town.
