Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe stayed in room 1 for 2 nights: *Our shower wouldn't turn down so our only choice was to have a really hot shower which isn't ideal in hot weather. *Feel like the lounge area could stay open a bit longer than 10pm, as we stayed out til 9.30 ish both nights to enjoy the amusements and have a meal so by the time we got back it would be closing, BUT do understand owners have young children, having young children myself I can see why they want to close it up early. *Bunk bed could probably do with tightening up as it was rather squeaky everytime one of the children turned over in their sleep *A few extra pillows would be great too!
Let me start by saying the other reviews weren't wrong the Breakfast was fantastic!!! Everything was cooked PERFECTLY, really tasty and plenty for all, juice, coffee and tea provided we even got extra toast! *On arrival Nikki was very friendly and we immediately felt comfortable, she took out breakfast orders and gave us our key then left us to it... PERFECT *Room was spotlessly clean *Towels provided were clean, soft and smelt fresh (big brownie points for this!!) *Beds were comfy, and again clean sheets and bedding provided *We had a front door key and could come and go as we please which is really great, not having to knock and wait *Location is perfect, walking distance to everything, 15mins to pleasure beach, around 25 to amusements/Coral Island. My son was unwell so unfortunately we had to go home early but we will definitely be booking here again, it ticks all of the boxes

United KingdomUnable to get take out,no bar facilities, also my 2yr old told to be quiet in the bar room on the one morning by one of the staffs daughters because someone was asleep downstairs..
Didn't have breakfast, location was ideal, was disappointed that there was no bar facilities and couldn't take food back for when the children wanted a snack later in the evening.

United KingdomNo parking no food facility , the room wasn't proper clean the bedsheets weren't clean and crisp like the other hotel . Felt like it wasn't washed properly there was an old sock on the side of the bedside table. And the room wasn't heating properly as the radiator was too small for the size of the bedroom.
I liked the location

United Kingdomapparently the owners used the F word in front of my grandson. My daughter who has mental health issues was Late booking out which I can totally appreciate the owners being concerns as this would put pressure on the cleaners for the rest of the day. However, I do not expect anyone running a service dealing with the public to us such foul language. Extremely disappointed and the abusive verbal behaviour and I will be taking it further

United KingdomI don’t usually do these reviews because hotels are very much personal choice however I feel quite strongly about this hotel. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaked an awful lot especially the bunk beds which the kids used. The cooked breakfast was greasy and very limited options for cereal. The only real kids option was Cocopops. On the first evening we were asked for our breakfast choice and when my wife and daughter asked for poached eggs and brown toast, we were told to either buy our own bread or we could have white bread and fried eggs. I asked for a hot alternative to the greasy fry, such as porridge but was told it wasn’t available. I then asked to remove my breakfast option and go room only and again was told not possible.
The room was a good size with a separate room for the kids.
